I know this is going to sound strange but it's a funny memory so, here goes.
I love Elton John. For some strange reason that I cannot explain, this is the song I had on repeat for a majority of my 14 hour labor with my son. 🤷♀️
And I STILL don't know all the words. 😂
The song makes me zen out, so I suppose it does make sense.
This was 12 years ago. 🖤
i listened to seals and crofts diamond girl repeatedly during labor weird
Hey thanks for sharing I appreciate that
Every one likes Elton for there own reasons
Great song. My favorite song from him is sorry seems to be the hardest word.
Hey glad you enjoyed my friend
Happy birthday
@@dubzer0649 ty sweetie
My favorite song is Tiny Dancer, which you should definitely react to. I agree with others who say to check out George Michael and Elton’s live version of Elton’s song Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me. Classic.
Stay tuned for more my friend

This is my favorite Elton John song but “Candle In The Wind” holds a special place in my heart because it makes me think of Princess Diana
at her funeral. ruclips.net/video/1o9rLDCfO6o/видео.html
Def have to react to that one too
Stay tuned
He originally wrote it for Marilyn Monroe but changed the words around for Diana after her passing
I still miss her.
Never go wrong with Elton. Saw him in 77 in 90s and touring with Billy Joel.
"Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" is phenomenal fr start with "Funeral for a Friend" all the way to "Harmony" promise!!
Fav, probably "Madman Across the Water" but I do turn it up when I here this one!!
Thanks for watching my friend
One of my first albums was Elton John - Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy. Tower of Babel and Bitter Fingers were my favorites on that album. Thanks for the reaction!
Thanks for watching
Captain fantastic is what inspired my Twitch name you gotta listen to it absolutely tremendous
One of his best songs IMO...course I could say that about maybe 15 Elton John songs.
Never going to make the greatest hits list, but I've always liked the song "Crystal" from his Too Low For Zero album. Used to listen to that album driving across the desert a lot back when it came out.
Def a good song
Thanks for watching
My favorite,,, Funeral for a Friend and Lucy in the sky with Diamonds. ✌
Thanks for watching
This one & Tiny Dancer are my favorite Elton John songs...
Def more to clme
Favorite? That is almost impossible. This might be an order. Someone Saved My Life Tonight, Pinball Wizard, Rocketman, Philadelphia Freedom, Crocodile Rock, Tiny Dancer, Bennie and the Jets, Can you feel the love tonight, I'm Still Standing, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Island Girl, Candle in the wind, Your Song, This Train, Daniel, The Bitch is Back, Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me, Honky Cat, Levon, Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word, Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting.
Thanks for answering my question
And thanks for the list of songs
Dub Great Reaction. Your mom must have great taste in music. I’m glad you have that special memory of listening to this song with your mom😀👍❤️✌️🌼
Yes she def does she put me on some good music without me even knowing
Elton John sang this on soul train. He was one of the few white guys to ever perform on Soul Train. Him & David Bowie
Wow that’s cool thanks for sharing
I appreciate you watching as well
This song hit #1 on both the Pop and the Soul charts. Elton John became the first Caucasian artist to hit #1 on the Soul chart after Elvis originally did it! There is a clip on RUclips of Elton performing the song on an episode of Soul Train.
1973. "Bennie" is a female character who Elton has described as a "sci-fi rock goddess." Bernie Taupin, who wrote the lyrics, told Esquire, "'Bennie And The Jets' was almost Orwellian - . They were supposed to be a prototypical female rock 'n' roll band out of science fiction. Automatons." My fave Elton song: "I guess that's why they call it the blues."
Hey thanks for watching and commenting my friend. I appreciate that
Favorite Elton John songs: Levon; Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding; Grey Seal; Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting; Harmony; Grimsby; One Horse Town; Out of the Blue.
The way he slaps those piano keys. Nobody else could ever quite get that sound from a piano.
Dub, you have to go down Elton’s catalog! Please react to early 1970’s so of from Iconic Albums in music history:
Madman Across the Water
Indian Summer
Holy Moses (Border Song)
Burn Down the Mission
And,
Live performance of: Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding
Thanks for watching and thanks for the list of songs my friend
Dub you were smooooooooth on this one! Definitely feeling the piano and Elton's versatile voice. This song is a classic & I so happy you knew it & you could just have fun with it.
I love that you acknowledged that when you were young & heard these you didn't realize the artists etc & now you do. I can't wait for you to discover even more. ✌❤🎵
Hah I really enjoyed this one a lot
Def brought back lots of memories from growing up
Thanks for watching
Somehow this song was bumped by the bro's on a soul radio station in Detroit in 1974. When Elton heard that (over in England) he felt he'd really made it.
Think Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting is my favourite followed closely with this one & I’m Still Standing x
Thanks for watching
I remember seeing him do this on Soul Train when I was younger.

Hey thanks for watching
You brightened my day!!
That makes me happy
If you ever decide to do whole-album reactions, the album that this song comes from would be awesome. It is called "Goodbye Yellow-Brick Road," and came out of a period of Elton John's career when he and his songwriting partner, Bernie Taupin, created some absolutely AMAZING songs! It's a double album, so it's a lot to absorb, but it's one of the best albums ever. In 2020, the album was ranked number 112 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. It was also ranked number 59 in Channel 4's 2009 list of 100 Greatest Albums. The album was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2003 when it was also included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.

Believe it or not, this song was recorded in the studio and the audience sounds were added later!
This was also done with a previous song by Elton called Rock & Roll Madonna but not as skillfully.
