Finally Sir. Elton John
Tiny dancer and rocket man
Are also great he has a great catalog of music cant wait to jump down the rabbit hole let's go......
one of the best piano players out there, ever. and he's got 50 years of songs to pick from, lol
Elton is one of the greatest musicians/pianists of all time, and has countless hits spanning decades (and has actually made some new collaboration songs on the past couple months). I suggest “Rocket Man” for a start.
Good suggestion, Kurtis B. I would also suggest going back as far as "Madman Across the Water."
@@geminiguy2001 And I’d agree, just hard to know where to start when it comes to Elton. Madman definitely needs to be reached at some point though.
Elton writes the music within an hour of receiving the lyrics. True genius
Rocket Man & Dont Let the Sun Go Down On Me.....CLASSICS
I saw Elton in his prime! 1976 bicentennial tour. I was 16. It was amazing! I can't tell you how many costumes he wore!!!!!! Listen to Funeral for a friend/love lies bleeding in my hand. There is a live version from the 70s.
I saw the 1976 tour at Madison Square Garden! It was my 12th birthday present 😁
@@TheMike_I it was a great show right?
@@donnagonatas3155 it was amazing! Kiki Dee was there too!
@@TheMike_I when i saw him Todd Rungrend opened for him. Elton came on standing on top of a piano dressed as the statue of liberty. Im only 4 years older than you. Wasn't the 70s the best????
@@donnagonatas3155 I don’t remember who opened but will never forget him dressed as the Statue of Liberty 😂 and he did Don’t Go Breaking My Heart with Kiki. were you in NYC?
Bennie and the Jets are a fictional rock band and the song is from a fan’s viewpoint. Elton has a ton of great songs!
The very first time I learned of Elton John's existence, was this song. It pulled me from one end of my house to the other side because of the beat. He is my favorite singer after Michael Jackson.
Candle in the Wind, a tribute to Norma Jean(Marilyn Monroe, he also did a remake when Princess Di, passed.
Tiny Dancer Elton John’s classic song!!
Dude, this is the original! You need to check out more Elton John songs! Any covers that you’ve heard, they’re just that covers! This man is the real deal!
Saturday night's alright for fighting, I'm still standing, and rocketman are a few more to look into. Also don't forget the one about Tony Danza (tiny dancer).
Are you kidding. When this came out we were way to cool for school dances. 😂🤣😂
I saw this Cat in concert and he has so many hits that it was a two straight hours of pure fun! No opening acts just him and the piano!
♥♥♥ Take a deep dive down this rabbit hole! Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is fire!
'Bennie and the Jet's' are a mythical band. Funny thing is, this is Elton's first R&B hit (called 'Hot Soul' at the time).
I remember when this came out I was in 10th grade. Oh those were the days☺️
"Funeral For A Friend / Love Lies Bleeding" is his masterpiece! - Live in the 70's
I grew up in the 70s. Born in 1960. The 70s were the absolute best!!! We had the best music, drinking age was 18. I smoked cigarettes infront of my parents from the age of 16! I started at 14. Back then it was no big deal! We all got along for the most part. I think mainly we were all listening to the same music! Black, white it didn't matter. And so we all got the same message. And yes alot of the music was about drugs but it was also about peace and love and anti war......any way we had a blast!✌❤
Exactly the same. Turned 61 last Wed. (HA! I typo'd that to 51...nice try huh?)
Is there anyone Eminem didn't "sample" from? Or proven to steal in the case of Queen?
Dude Elton is a legend..
One of the greats absolutely amazing thanku so much love and god bless x
fictional bands/alter egos have been a popular theme over time. beatles dgt pepper. fictional band for a movie. pink floyd. at one time, anytime someone did an interview with roger waters, they were talking to pink. early 90s U2. bono was the fly. garth brooks was chris gaines for a while. sometimes went hand in hand with concept albums. sgt. pepper, the wall. concept albums, album art, hidden tracks, back masking. all things i miss very much about music of the past. some do it now but more of a novelty. bands would compete then
You're killing it my friend!
Elton is the real deal!

Bruh. This man is nothing short of a master musician. I've seen him in concert 4 times and he NEVER disappoints. Ever. His career is so long and his catalog of music is so huge I wouldn't even begin to know where to begin recommending more songs. Oh what the hell. Below are a few of my personal favorites, but trust me when I tell you that barely scratches the surface. Love live Sir Elton John!!
Tiny Dancer
Levon
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
Your Song
The One
Daniel
I Guess That's Why They Call it the Blues
There are a lot of songs that you might not understand the lyrics but the vocals are just another instrument. It’s still a great song and you make of what of it what you will regardless of what other people get out of it.
Eminem and Elton John are actually pretty close friends now. Elton has a great story he told on The Graham Norton Show about the wedding gift Eminem gave to him and his husband.
Rocket Man and Tiny Dancer are two of his best
This was the "B" side of the song "Harmony". It went to number one on thr R&B chart.
Oh, so much more Elton John please. Tiny Dancer is my personal favorite, but whatever works.
The Musicality is Sick!
Wow this was released in 1973, yikes I was 14 and a freshman in high school. Elton was British pop master artist. He just kept getting better and better. Elton and the piano, like no other artist. You have a pantheon of in incredible music to explore. Have fun!
Eminem did make some comment years ago about Elton being gay but I saw Elton do an interview and they are really good friends now. So everyone grows up and moves on. At least... we used to.
I would mop the hell out of the floor listening to this hahaha
A Standout In His CatalogWritten by and longtime collaborator Bernie Taupin, it's about a “weird and wonderful” fictional band, told from the perspective of a fan speaking to friends Candy and Ronnie. It all began with seeing Taupin's lyrics while he was writing for GYBR.
70s radio was true nirvana. I was a child exposed to it all day every day. ❤️
Daniel is a good song to check out. So is All the Girls Love Alice.
I love that you love this song!!
Mary J. Blige- DEEP INSIDE...Look it up my dude. Released 1999. She sampled this as well. Sorry ima 80's baby. I grew up on this type of music 🎶🎵
The song was about Ziggy Stardust ( Dave Bowie ) and The Spiders from Mars
It went to number on Urban Contemporary WJIB in Detroit which was programmed by Donnie Simpson before he moved to Washington, DC and turned WKYS around.
Love Elton!! He has so many Great hits! He is also the longest I`ve ever waited on a concert..was supposed to go last year in May(me and my bf was going because we both have birthdays in May) needless to say a pandemic happened..so it`s been postponed to next April. So yeah almost 3 years for a show, but I know he will be worth it and we already bought the tickets, lol, cost us $850.00 for both of us...yes please do more.. Someone Saved My Life Tonight and Little Jeannie are two of my faves but you can`t go wrong with any..Keep On Rockin`
I think he's the only artist to have a song in the top 40 billboard ranking for 6 decades
Very much enjoying your honest reactions please react to Elton John Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding. Your ears will love you forever!
Check out Crocodile Rock by Elton. Jams on the piano
Just subscribed to you and I love it!
You hear that? That's the sound of the 70s.
SUPER RICH KIDS by Frank Ocean got a sample of this one. That's another GREAT song.
Levon is his best!
Many great songs to react to!! Check out Philadelphia Freedom or Tiny Dancer or...✌❤
I second both of those
Bennie and the Jetsssss.
One of the best songs ever written❤️
This is actually from the early 70’s
Elton John I'm still standing
React to him live at Central park singing Saturday night all right for fighting ☺️
this song was No1 in US chart and RnB chart at same time. ( a big thing at the time )
He was known a Knight Elton John
Man if you like Benny and the Jets, try these Elton blues/rocker types: Philadelphia Freedom, Take Me To The Pilot, Border Song, Madman Across The Water, My Father's Gun, Rocket Man, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Grey Seal, Tell Me When The Whistle Blows, Boogie Pilgrim, Simple Life, Amoreena, Burn Down The Mission, Indian Sunset...
Eminem and Elton are friends bro. Elton helped Em get to grips with his addiction issues. And defended Em when he was getting grief from people saying he was homophobic and stuff x
From his "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" album, pick any song off the album and you will not be disappointed.
I hear every boom boom rapper on street outside my house. Shut it down go home and do a double shot and listen to real ARTISTS play the bars.
Soul from the UK
ELTON JOHN - CROCODILE ROCK. PLEASE REACT !
You should check out Biz Markie's cover of this song.
mop the floor. fantastic
Please more Elton John
We wasn't dancing we were smoking weed, doing drugs and drinking back in the 70's. Good times but not the best for long term success.
Got very high on the soul music char either number one or two I think.
80s this was 70s dude
You should check out Aaron Lewis Country Boy
Something that reminds me of Elton John, one time I was watching a video of these white people singing Cirlce of life from Lion king, and people in the comments talking about it’s rude/stupid for white people to sing it, and I’m like tf a white person wrote the fucking song and that person was Elton John
blacks loved this song..as a matter of fact. .this tune saved his carreer..
React to one in a million guns n roses
this song is about snorting cocaine lol
bennie = benjamin = $100 bill
the jets = white jet stream = line of blow 😂

Dude, he could be your great grandpa. He's great though ❤️
🧹🪣 lol
M&M is just jealous
Black person hears white music for the first time.
"sampled"
translation: STOLEN and not paid for. If you "sample" you aren't an artist. An artist Creates! He/she doesn't steal someone else's work.
Top 5 worst song ever written.
