My husband had Valley Fever back in November 2010. It mimics flu symptoms. By the time the doctor figured out what is was, it disseminated from his lungs, went in to his blood stream and attacked the lining around his brain! The doctor said one more day and he would have died! He had to have a spinal tap every 3 months for a year and was on diflucan for a year. His infectious disease doctor said my husband dodged a huge bullet! We lived in San Luis Obispo County, CA. He worked in the oil fields in San Ardo, CA. Have your Dr check you for valley fever! My husband had such horrific headaches that he went to the ER and they dismissed it as tension.
I contracted Valley Fever in 2018 in Lancaster,Caifornia. I almost kicked the bucket at age 58. It began with difficult breathing and a strong pain in my chest. I quickly drove myself to the hospital. I spent five days at the hospital. My xrays of my chest /lungs showed all white, my rib cage on the results was not visible and all fogged up. Couldnt see my ribcage at all. I really freaked out!!! The fungus covered all my lungs and ribcage. The doctors didnt know what it was and they claim that I was their first known patient diagnosed with the fungus in Lancaster, Ca. I was given experimental drugs to destroy the fungus and Diflucan was the ticket. I was on Diflucan everyday for one year. Thanks to God and doctors, the fungus is now gone.

I went to my doctor because I thought I developed rheumatoid arthritis. He suspected valley fever so he tested me for it. Problem is it took a month before the results came back from Davis. By the time I got the results my body fought it off and I was feeling better. My doctor was amazed. I had a lung xray and all was fine. I had NO idea how serious my condition was until I spoke with others who had it and suffered terribly. The key is to boost ones immune system. Lots of vitamins like C, D and Zinc

now you got it !
You guys are sheep sheep sheeps
Tommy sounds vaccinated. ☕
its a fungal infection that you get from soil. Been around for hundreds of years. It's not even contagious.
Need to wear your mask 😷 24-7.Stay home and be safe.
why stay home? its not contagious. just stay away from breathing in soil dust.
Have you ever watched them harvest almonds???
All Planned!!
Thank you for showing us your stupidity.
Yeah! For the last 100 years. 😂
Source?
Somebody skipped high school science. Or failed it completely.
a fungal infection that you get from soil, and has been around since the 1800s is planed??? its not even contagious.
Wouldn't have anything to do with cloud seeding huh strange
Stay away when levels rise in the area. Stop creating a panic when there is none! Leave it to the democratic news for this report.
Exactly
reporting on a fungal infection that you get from soil, and isn't contagious isn't creating a panic. its just pertinent information to be aware of.
@@jojothetasmaniansassmonkey8866 As long as they keep at that level, we don't have a problem.
The latest scam?
it is not a scam valley fever is real my brother lived in Templeton CA and fot it working in his yard years ago and destroyed his lungs as each year went by his lungs got worst and he finally passed last year after much suffering
not "a scam"
people are so poorly educated! smh
yeah a fungus that's been around since the 1800s it totally a scam. smh. This has popped up every few years since way before any of us were born.
I almost died from valley fever in 2016 . My right lung is shorter due to a small surgery on it . Luckily it never went to my spine . I was on diflucan for years . Best thing to do is wear a respirator and if you have diabetes or any existing medical condition it can be fatal . In the early stages I hear garlic can help along with rest and mild exercise .
What are those planes spraying? Why is the fog lingering?
Ain t no fungus...it s all them chemicals used now...
"ain't" nothin but what?
Was there lots of fog?
Covid - lung issues affected by catching it - did it weaken your immune system therefore making you more vulnerable to further issues. I wonder if those catching this Valley Fever were vaccinated or NOT against Covid
Ohhhhh BROTHER!!! Come on this is ridiculous!! Suddenly humans getting a cold/flu is a freak out show.
this isn't a cold or flu. It's not even a virus. It's a fungal infection that you get from breathing in soil dust. its not contagious.
Valley Fever is not everywhere in California only in certain areas.
Sounds like clock work again - just in time for the trump administration- haha smh
😂
its not even contagious. it can't spread. its a fungal infection that you get from soil.
My son has bad case in az
Something ain't right my people! Can you feel it?!
It is not gonna work this time.
smarten up!
Could it be the stuff being sprayed in the air?
Thanks for the fyi 411 why i take Zinc and try to rest, be less stressed, drink plenty of fuilds .
Doesn't prevent it but knowing is half the battle yo Ioe G I joe
that's all good, but not sure if less stress, zinc and more fluids are going to do much about a fungal infection, in the way those things can help with a viral infection. Best things to do is just stay away from soil dust.
@jojothetasmaniansassmonkey8866 For those of us who can you're 100 💯 right, I'm not exposed to that, but I do pray and wish good health for those who
It’s amazing how gullible people are. Can’t believe people injected themselves with poison because a news anchor and Fauci advised. The PLANDEMIC really showed how dumb humans are smh
Maybe stop spraying us!!
Oh no! Let's see how Trump mishandles this one
its not contagious. it can't spread. its a fungal infection, not a virus.
That Walmart ad is a scam. Dan don’t fall for it.
Wash your feet
Nothing new in Arizona. My sister got it 50 years ago.
Lowered immune systems…
most peoples immune systems are not used to dealing with a soil-born fungus.
Wow, aren't these tge two counties with bird flu also?
IT’s vitamin D deficiency season…get some damn sun, take some vitamins, stop eating processed food (aka product), fast and sleep. It’s not rocket science.
😂 ok dr ID
Not true
no it is Not a vit D deficiency.
@@oldbeatpete Sure. And I should believe you why? Cause you wanna tell me I should live in constant fear?
@@Daisy-e5x1f How and why is it not true? Yet anything the news says about this fever bs is true?
or just stay away from soil dust. that stuff is all good when it comes to viruses, but this is a fungal infection that you get from soil. its not contagious.
Overall a cold or mild flu symptoms. Just another winter illness that is completely preventable by simple lifestyle changes: no processed foods, little to no carbohydrates, control insulin resistance (88% of Americans have some degree of IR) therefore excess weight/obesity.
no, you breathe it in!
smh 🙄
@@webwhisper2701 I smh at all this bs fear mongering.
no, a cold and flu are both viruses. this isn't a virus. its a fungal infection that you get from soil. its not even contagious. it doesn't spread among people. Did you not learn the difference between a virus and a fungus in high school??
😂😂Just don't fall for the same BS again!
a fungal infection that you get from breathing soil dust isn't exactly a good way to control the masses. most people don't spend much time around soil.
Yeah! People have been falling for this one for like 100 years. 😂
I had few weeks ago from ordering food from DoorDash
that would be a strange way to get an infection from a fungus that lives in soil.
Ya it’s called stop eating fat food and grab a salad
We started the new year with the right foot on the ground.
Declare a state of emergency.!
I'm sure it has nothing to do with the pesticide
I’m in California. I’d sure like to stop those white lines in the sky made by planes. How is that allowed?
Find Jesus!
"THE LAST OF US"
BS
Well that's not good 😢😢😢
so in other words, it happens every year, don't worry about it, its dust.
Stop the unnecessary fear mongering !
Or, and just hear me out on this, report a potential danger in the community to that community. Do you even live here?
Only ones at risk are TV watchers
Not true. Wife almost died from it last year. Overprescribed antibiotics and Dr Kaur almost killed her.
Or dumbacrats
I personally know someone who died from Valley Fever about 15 or so years ago. You are not funny or clever.
no, people who work around soil are at risk. If this was some sort of a hoax wouldn't you think they would say it's something more contagious? a sickness that you get from being around soil isn't exactly fear inducing for people who don't work with soil. Is this a conspiracy to keep people away from soil???
Lies lies lies
Reported cases go back 100+ years in the region. It's mentioned in a western song from 79. U iz bean dum.
nope, don't be a dope!
