in my country 6600 xt goes for 20$ bucks cheaper than 3060 and it still beats it, which is insane from AMD. 6700 xt apparently just smashes it for only 40$ cheaper, so yea amd are definitely destroying the price to performance ratio rn.
100% I had a rx 6600 xt and I got that for $100 less than a rtx 3060, and it worked really well, I loved that gpu. I should have kept it but sold it in the end to get an rx 6700 xt, I can't afford to hold onto loads of expensive gpus 😅
To be honest it was not an optimal setup at all, I only had one day with the 3060 before I had to give it to my customer so I used it on a dual socket xeon pc build 😓
In my country 4060 rtx is cheaper than 6700 xt by 10$ and costs just as much as 3060 while considering 4060 is better than 3060, but also 4000 series dlss 3 & 3.5 ( better than fsr) & frame generation , better ray tracing: the price is ~ 375$ including shipping in country (5$) Compared to: Rx6650 xt & rx 6700 between 80-100$ cheaper Rx 6600 xt out of stock
The rtx 4060 is about that much in my country too but from memory it's the 8gb version, also I haven't tested but I think the 4060 benches less than a rx 6700 xt, I'll have to test it tho
@@RestoTek yes it's stil less by 15-20 without all the things nvidia adds on top, you can deminish this issue either way by using from ultra to high settings and if possible play with or addons sharpness or on some game just play 1080p it ties the same in some titles. But I like 4060 for the fact it doesn't heat up that much, better "addons", overclocking , editing , power consumption as you don't necessarely need to change the power supply. to find in a buget. Thank you, yeah it was a 12gb version of the rtx 3060, it's weird how it was so low might have been an oddity on my end. Didn't think it would be fair to compare 2 gpus with different amounts of vram
Why do people compare two cards that has nothing to do with each other. One is made for rasterization and other is made for RT DLSS workloads... 3060 is pretty bad for its price if you use it for rasterization. 6700XT a whole tier higher card will completely suck in Ray Tracing scenarios. So u chose what you want from your GPU. (RTX 3000 sucks in general now because its software locked by nvidia to not let it run Frame Generation) well it can still do stuff like Ray Reconstruction which AMD can only dream about but DO NOT buy 3060 unless its under 200$
Completely get your point, I think the main point here is that both cards are around $300, so if someone wanted to buy a new gpu they can decide which one to get. But your right they are designed for two different workloads
Rx 6700 xt performs pretty well at 4k, I think mainly because allot of people have 4k displays these days. At 1080p these gpus of course perform very well. I think moving forwards I should test at both 1080p and 4k
Warzone actually runs better on AMD gpu-s. For comparison i tested few days ago and a RX 6800 had few more fps than RTX 3090 in the build in game benchmark. The reason you had less fps on the amd is because you used upscaling and DLSS is giving more fps than FSR in warzone.
I was debating what would be the bast way to test but because I pitched the video as fsr 3.0 I thought I better leave DLSS on even though most games don't use fsr 3.0, once it's rolled out for more games I might do a retest
I remember when GTX 750 was beating ps4 however as new games adopted to use the new features we saw that it couldn't compete at even lower resolutions So why bother testing those two GPUs now, i think it's way better to wait until next gen games release to see how different GPUs compete in mesh shaders/vrs/upscaling/ray tracing..... At least if you added alan wake 2 since it does use mesh shading to give us a good conclusion about how will they stack up in next gen games
I think I'll give that a try, your right there really is only one game where I could demonstrate the difference between fsr 3.0, I'll have a look at Alan wake and I'll also wait a bit to see when we do start getting more support for fsr 3.0

Try to run V-sync for better footeage and at a lower res next time, gives better comparison for you:)
