Before anybody asks, I did not cum on my Bumblebee, thats hand soap. And it was a pain to clean off!
Anyway, I know I been away. I had started developing a pretty toxic relationship with RUclips and I had to step back to work out some personal stuff with myself.
And then I got sick, and that wasn't fun. Then I didn't know what figure to talk about, but luckily the new Studio Series wave dropped just when I needed it.
I know I always say this in these notes, but I really am trying my best to be more consistent. I have a lot of stressors that I deal with in my personal life and I get depressed when I feel like I'm leaving my subscribers disapointed.
Its like a one-two punch for my mental health and it can leave me unable to work on anything at all when I feel I have so much I need to do.
So I'm trying to take it easier for myself, and will probably just work on one thing at a time. I can't really do much more than that right now, but hopefully that can change in the future.

The reason why they released these now is the fact Reactivate is coming out either this year or last year and they are making figures for it. So they started with the wfc characters to ease people into the new gamer edition line.
That’s probably true, I hope those are good cause I’m not especially interested in the game

Gotta respect how critical you were of the toy. Would you say it’s still worth it if I had the older one? I’m inclined to say yes, because he looks great.
I think they’re way different, the new one is a lot more streamlined and impressive to look at but less accurate. I guess whichever fits in your collection is best
I do hope that this opens up the possibility for SS to do titans like Omega Supreme, Trypticon, and most important, Metroplex

I'm so glad that Studio Series is including the video games now. My thicc bois needed a revamp after so long. Here's hoping that WFC Jazz gets a figure too.
Another note if Hasbro somehow does a remaster of the game, deadass I'll legit buy the ps5, switch, or whatever they're gonna release it. There's so many new games that I've been wanting to play, Hasbro pls just do it😣🙏!!!

When there was a rumour of this toy, i was really hyped of getting one myself. WFC aesthetic is one of my favourites. But after seeing the reviews of this guy, i got my mind changed. He's smaller than Optimus' standard voyager height with too many visible hollow parts that make him look cheap. The visible hands at the back of the truck is kinda a letdown as well. It's like they made him with the leftover budget.
That's one of my main turning-off points, like, how could you low-budgeted Prime, you're not allowed to.
He makes me think he was gonna be a Leader class but they gutted him to size him down
I don't feel it's enough of an upgrade over the original. All I ever wanted to make the original better were the back wheels appropriately angled and the back detail being game game accurate. Neither change is here. The gun being an arm replacement is a plus but not enough.
Its weird because I think their intention was to emphasize the weapon swapping gimmick, but I don’t get why they thought that was worthy of Studio Series. I initially had a much harsher ending for this video that talked about that but I never finished writing it

I never had a chance to play the game but that original Optimus figure was one of my favorites growing up. I’m curios now to see how they look side by side.

I like they way they did this figure, makes me want to see how they would do bruticus, I was gonna get ss bb ratchet to go along with my ironhide but now I want to see how they do those 2 since I never got the siege versions

In mass he's roughly 180 grams so he's one of the heavier voyager toys out of anything generations from the last 5 or so years. 130-155ish is where most are in plastic quantity.Not sure if that makes the issues he has more understandable or just more tragic.
Personally my biggest issue is the matrix missing the grey parts on top and bottom of the core and it being way too small. He never held it in wfc or foc so I'm okay with him not being able to grab it.
Fun fact: High Moon Studios does still exist, its just in developer pugatory helping COD development

Still on the fence about him, on one hand the design of the toy is not perfect with all those gaps and whatnot, but it's slowly growing on me.
But I do admit that it was a good move that they got rid of that horrible dead gray plastic on his first showing model. For now I'll wait and see, maybe to compare him to the SS ROTB Optimus that's coming up.
Was that plastic color just due to the lighting, or did they actually change the plastic? They take really bright photos so I wasn’t sure 🤔

Poor High Moon. You did everything right and this is your Legacy. A gap filler as Hasbro figures out how to recycle the movie series one more time before the Fabulous 40th.
The figure: Looks ok. I guess the $35 question is - Is it better than first edition? Does it cut one more leg out from under the scalpers? Replace those back panels and I think we have a winner.

Transformers: War for Cybertron and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron are 2 games that I'd like to see get a PS5 remaster collection.
Anyway, this figure looks pretty cool but it does have some design aspects and cut backs that makes it a little less worth it. Maybe Flame Toys will make some kits?
I would actually love some kits of these designs, even if they didn’t transform!

Are we getting a review of legacy Skyquake and dreadwing? They look incredibly solid and as dreadwing was one of my favorite characters i might just buy my first figure since I moved out of my parents house.

As someone who loves the past WFC figure, this is a downgrade IMO.
The shoulders are way too wide, his collar isnt there and the sides of the legs lack detail.
Don’t know if this one is worth my £35… still have WFC and FOC installed on my PC..
