That, was fucking EPIC!! Loved it, im a huge fan of the western Genres and ive seen over 100 westerns, from bad to the greatest Trilogy ever made in any Genre- and this, my friend, for a short film,is definately ranking, and i hope to see other chapters and i hope that you get your production out to millions upon millions of people-just my humble opinion..peace!!
@@AdrianTopol yep-i checked it out-it looks great bro seriously you guys have a real talent to tell stories, visually looks great and the story seems to be-in you guys words- fucked up tale!release date?you should also put the.link for others to check it out!
You've seen over a 100 well at 73 I've seen closer to 1000,my favourite genre by far. I have to agree with you on everything. This held me focused like all of Clints westerns used to. My 3 all time fav westerns are, The wild bunch, Once upon a time in the West and G,B,U. This team are on that level in my opinion .
That short ranks pretty high in its genre, but the barkeep shooting the pistol out of the bad guy’s hand without blowing off part of the arm undermines it just a bit. I am glad that people are keeping the western alive in any way possible.
WOW! What an *amazing* authentic bar setting, with fantasticly real-feeling grimy clothing and hair. Then all the slow-mo action shots. No budget? WOW!
I loved the use of motion, camera angles, and sound to create the suspense and the action. The actors were superb. The scene reminded me of Once Upon A Time In The West. Very well done.
Guys I’m not a hatter but is a short film every single frame or motion or movement shit what ever u call it has to be crazy it starts out bad ass till the pretty boy turn to look .the way that film looks is great is really great I’m not a professional but I feel u could have done way better but take these as a motivation comment I believe u can do so much u have it in you .keep it up we have to love what we do so we can be good at what we do .
the smoking gambler was awesome. best cigarillo smoke slo mo ive seen an age. the fight scenes, from whip to fist, was a bit hollywood for my taste (but go get them contracts), still, the head slam on the shot glass is actually something I saw go down once. dude waggled alot more on the ground than your guy, but he was OUT. didnt have a jagged ol' glass stuck in his eye tho, so...nevermind all them details about shotguns taking hands off, and period accurate sidearms, etc. hell, its all fiction, just ride!!! yall did this on a no budget? wut? ya'll drew 3 aces, a king and a joker, great short!
...titles, the slow motion, sound (and no sound); editing perfectly timed, cinema, beyond good lighting and film, good acting: a director with wit, with a good story. ...if there was a part two, and maybe a part three, (why does it end there,) i would not feel, wanting more, so badly. Hit the spot, another cult classic i'd say in the, Western Short Film, genre. Cheers!
Ummmm, no. Shotgun to shoot a guys gun from his hand? After the first couple punches the guy shoulda been out cold, nothing made since in a accurate way. Great short anyhow, I liked it
Very exciting western with a great fight scene and cool special effects. Everyone should film with "no budget" if the result turns out like this! Nice job. Mike "oldwestguy" Dodge
Absolutely EF-EN awesome.! Westerns were on TV everyday when I was a kid. I really like this one. The last time I saw martial arts mixed with the Western genre was a long time ago. I applaud the nod at The Good the Bad and the Ugly. You've got to do a series of these it would be a MASSIVE hit. They just don't do Westerns anymore.
I write western books. Very nice. I have produced five small westerns but they were just for a kids camp. Fun though. Great quality in the cinematography! wonderful job!
that was bad ass !!! duster meets kung fu. that was done really well not too much kung fu so one forgets its a western. hope the big movies will mix it up a bit as both genre's are loosing steam and or dying. 8.5/10 all day every day
Now that was cool. No budget? You folks did way better with this short than some so-called big budget films and Westerns. Loved the part with the whip!
I've got an idea! How about you let the liberals disarm you, then let them import hundreds of thousands of Muslims and have them institute Sharia law? Then you lose your country without a shot fired. What? It's happening in real life? Oh.... Nevermind.
Very well done! incredible cinematography, excellent lighting, great fight scene... the only thing I didn't get was the folded up drawing in the cigarette case. No idea what that was about.
Where to start with my comments on this brilliant video? In these days where do you find a saloon, let alone a saloon that looks like that? The special effects are incredible, especially for an independent. The choreography of the fight scene was phenomenal. Not sure if Adrian Topol is the author of this video but if he is... He is very sadly unrecognized.
Hi. Thanks 🙏🏽. I was one of the producers. We are a team of film maniacs. Adolfo Kolmerer was the director here. Check out snowflake that was our first feature movie and our film school. Link is in the description of this video

almost 8 years, and it's still a epic piece
So the fight wasn’t over a bounty reward but a treasure map. I like that.
That short ranks pretty high in its genre, but the barkeep shooting the pistol out of the bad guy’s hand without blowing off part of the arm undermines it just a bit.

And, the punches sounded quite-realistic for a change, as opposed to the "standard" of sharp-smacks every time. I'm impressed!
This has better cinematography than most Hollywood blockbusters!
I loved the use of motion, camera angles, and sound to create the suspense and the action. The actors were superb. The scene reminded me of Once Upon A Time In The West. Very well done.
I just came across this and it is amazing. Excellent work by everyone involved. This short needs a follow up.
Dynamite stuff
That bartender is pretty good with that scatter gun to shoot that revolver out that guys hand with no fingers attached to it lol
Haha right guy would have been looking at a ragged stump where his hand used to be.
Oh, and the music and graphics, too!
As a fan of the western shorts I found this short to be 8 minutes of great entertainment. Great job!
I really like this western. Appreciate your talent and your details of the story. Look forward to seeing the next one.💛 😊❤

There are two kind of people in the world. Those who love westerns, and those who suck.
Well done
You're all very talented, thank you for creating something worth watching.
Perfection on details. Mastered. Thank you.
Ton of fun loving these things.
I love the way the bar keep, shots the pistol out of the gamblers hand with a shotgun and didn't take his hand with it. Lol
Need to take that Barkeep pheasant hunting
I thought the same thing.
could have been a slug...
Rubber bullet
Gregory Hamlet
He used a roll of dimes. Best $1.80 he ever spent.
Strong as an early John Wayne. The swoosh of a missing fist can knock a man senseless.
Great little short film.
Well shot
Well played
Well directed
Very professional
Loved every second
Very-very good - I feel much better now, after watching the great fight!

This could be the beginning to a fire 🔥 movie an make every character a introduction like this he run into
Actually, that was the most accurate western I've seen. And the ending plays into another episode. Love the ticking clock
Ummmm, no. Shotgun to shoot a guys gun from his hand? After the first couple punches the guy shoulda been out cold, nothing made since in a accurate way. Great short anyhow, I liked it
Fantastic!!!
The action sequences are awesome and so are the characters
Awesome work! Loved every second.
Awesome story. I like all of the action and how some of the fights are done in slow motion.
Very exciting western with a great fight scene and cool special effects. Everyone should film with "no budget" if the result turns out like this! Nice job.

Hi, that was an amazing short, outstanding work! Sergio Leone style goodness brought to life! Kudos my good man!

Well written, acted, filmed, music, graphics...well done.
Thx
Cool film .. reminds me.. I'm out of spaghetti .. an eye for an eye I see ..
Super Cool
The music is great.
Spaghetti western-ish. Like it!
Very good. The shotgun as a warning, would have been enough since it would have made the hoodloom one-handed if used.
Hat's off to a well done fight scene! Great job.
Excellent. Had a nice vibe to it , just like the old Italian westerns from long ago ~ ~ ~
I write western books. Very nice. I have produced five small westerns but they were just for a kids camp. Fun though. Great quality in the cinematography! wonderful job!
i was immediately entranced. Well done!
Exceptional quality. Hope you produce more.
We are planning to go on with a web series! It's hard to finance but we have an idea
Why not start a croudfund???
Pokemon XYZ because we started than to prepare our first feature film „snowflake” ruclips.net/video/_5SZ7aiw6Zc/видео.html
Excellent in every detail!!
Great homage to the spaghetti Westerns; this was about a gritty as it gets. FR
All the real bar fights I've ever seen, only last a few seconds. Great movie all the same, well done.
Errol Hooker 👍🙏🏽
Eight minutes of action. I could feel the fist blows myself.
Sergio Leon theme songs were very nice 💗
Perfect. I felt right at home.

Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Loved it. Nice job!
Now that was bloody awesome.
FONEY FIGHT !!!!
Best short western out of Scruggs . To the point attention grabber from start to finish...bad guy great actor and the others too
When and where is part 2, I'm hooked.
'Never count your winnings when you're sitting at the table, There'll be time enough for counting when the dealing's done....
Slow motion in a film is like mayonnaise in a recipe; if you use too much, it just takes over.
Awesome!
That was very good.
Great production values. I know how hard some of these shots were to set up. Excellent job.
Well done.
5:16 I thought he was gonna throw a shot of whiskey in his face but the guy catches it all in his mouth!
This is awesome I'm starting on a script for an Australian based western
Great!
How is that goin mate
Would like to see a Aussie version
I can give you clue... Later.
I've got an idea! How about you let the liberals disarm you, then let them import hundreds of thousands of Muslims and have them institute Sharia law? Then you lose your country without a shot fired.

Nice fight scene.
Amazing !
What camera did you film this with to get such clean slow motions ?
Lovely look, costumes, location, and acting !
Keep it up !
Outstanding!!!
Very well done! incredible cinematography, excellent lighting, great fight scene... the only thing I didn't get was the folded up drawing in the cigarette case. No idea what that was about.
Very good stuff indeed
A great shot. Thanks for sharing.

Pretty cool, what's a western without a card game and a bar scene.
Just a Pro job and better than most with a budget!
Nice work.
THX
Very cool. Would love to see a longer version, and more westerns made!
