Since Doc Holiday was a dentist...this can be a good starting point for a movie about his legend!
A tombstone prequel starting like this would be incredibly amazing
That's what I was thinking!
Wasn't he the main inspiration for Dr. King Schultz in Django Unchained?
I was thinking the same thing
@@T4ntalosholy shit I forgot about that movie! Thanks for reminding me!
Not only did he fix the outlaw's dental problem, but he stopped the pain too!!! 😁😁😁

E stao molto bravo e veloce gi atirato il dente . E una palotola sula fronte. 😢😢
We all have to recognize the "appeal" of living in simpler times, yet fail to remember how antiquated the medical field was back then.
Bodie and all the other mining towns filled with folks suffering from vicious hangovers with a pair of sidearms ready to vanquish anyone foolish enough to confront them... Then you had the folks with teeth that needed pulling and just a bottle of whiskey to help kill the pain !
Great short !
“The past was the worst” Simon Whistler (AKA Factboi)
Hey bud, they had laudanum and ether back then
Eh, they were using opium for centuries. Medical field was way more developed than people think.
This is almost a kind of prequel of the dentist character in Django.

absolutely.....hollywood garbage...
Hollywood is garbage but this acting is horrendous.
Well shot, you mean? These actors couldn't walk while chewing tobaccy. The casting, costumes, and script are terrible.
I wonder if Doc Holiday started out like this........... Might be a good move.....
Doc Holiday was a graduate of Pennsylvania Dental College and he was proud to be a dentist.
I honestly thought this was going to be about Holiday when it started.
I thought so, too...
It's said that his last words were "Well I'll be damned, I'm dyin' in bed".
He also apparently won a few awards in dentistry as well.
And kept up with the latest fashion. All Dentists/Gunslingers should be so well dressed. DON'T read history . . . . just LARP & Cosplay to your hearts content.
*Shoots him in the head*

Sums up what basically happens when they say that too.
Do you know what an artist and a sniper have in common? _Dentals._
Ahhhhhhh hahahahahahaha ahhhhhh, hahahahahahaha. Damn, I had been shooting out my nose I was laughing so hard.
As a dentist , I concur and wholeheartedly support this fellow professional ( albeit a charade).
Especially when patients attempted to cheat me and our office out of money or steal our tools.

It would have been cool ,if when he opened the lids, there was a poster saying Doc Holladay dentist.

This would be an A+ movie or series. Everything was done to perfection: the costumes, the location, and the irony.
Same thoughts here.
It's called Django Unchained.
@@B3AROTAN no; Tarantino writes amazing screenplays, but I don't think he could pull off a series, at least not at the level of his movies.
This particular short gives us all sorts of possibilities: not just in this current scene/situation, but also as far as the overarching story - both in the short and long history - of "the dentist."
Was he expecting to be bushwacked by this particular highway man? Quite possibly, given how things turned out. But on the other hand, if The Dentist was a bounty hunter, why would he keep playing the part of "the dentist" after having his prey at gunpoint?
Is this a major character quirk? Does he consider himself a medical professional so much that he honestly and truly *needs* a life (in a small town or similar) where he can live out his days fulfilling a life of teeth-pulling as his True Profession, while being a man-killer as little more than a moonlighting gig between carving wooden dentures and ripping out blackened molars?
I for one would happily watch this as, say, an 8 1-hour episode series. But alas I'm just an overly tired idiot in the internet who has drank enough to type out all thus B.S. of a comment rather than doing something worthwhile with his life, so I'm probably not the best judge when it comes to "episodic action-drama potential."
🤔🤷♂️
The dentist guy cleary has an aimbot. He shoots him in the chest but hits him in the head.
Nah, he just takes the recoil before shooting.
