Great, little, comedy. Reminds me of films made, before the world lost it's sense of humour. These short movies are just pure entertainment. Well done to all involved in this splendid production.
The last bit gave me pause due to the child’s outfit- matches a pretty famous murder in my country, although I doubt this was the intent of the director. The granny though- chef’s kiss!
loved the lady's reaction and escape. the costume was dad-gum excellent. the kid dying was more a heartbreak than a laugh...better would have been a passing drunk making fun at D's appearance.
Exactly! The kid's death was sad. Kids are innocent! It's not kinda funny to see them dying! It would be better if some drunk person, on anyone else, but not the kid!
I think its more of a metaphor on "the kid's intention were bad, since he dared wish death upon death itself, karma" rather than a "I am not leaving empty handed" situation.
HOLY crap that old woman suddenly had more energy than a 20 year old...Maybe that's why some people have one great day with energy and get out of bed after years, dance around, then die the next day.
3: The Plumbing Gag? Had me Grinning. 2: Granny Jumping the Fence & Legging It? Had me Giggling. 1: Death Slicing the Kid? I was totally Shriek/Snort-Laughing ... I was SO not expecting that ending! 😆🤣
Excellent. Except for the very last shot. The ending would have been so much stronger if the scene ended just short of (ie. skipped the part with) Death actually using his scythe, and the scene concluded with the kid "shooting" Death with his little cap pistol -- let the audience imagine what (if anything) happens next. The rest of this short was stellar -- that old lady is an actress!
