5 years for 623 views and 1 comment. Just shows how stupidly unfair the internet is. Someone opens surprise eggs and gets 300 million views.. for 90 seconds of opening a few eggs that cost $5. Meanwhile, how many of these are out there? How many artists work so hard... It's just not fair.
5 years before it gets deemed worth of showing up on anyone's feed, finally. Well, a subscriber and comment #2 for the algorithm. Best of luck.
Hahaha, thank you very much for your thoughtful comment and for nudging the algorithm in my favor, it is truly appreciated. Filmmakers may never reach the popularity of influencers, but comments like your make it all worth it in the end, so keep making the Internet a better place!
Just found it dude, chill LOL
Nicely done. As someone else pointed out, utterly banal videos gain millions of views, yet little gems like this are overlooked and underappreciated. Well done to all involved.
There's unfortunately nothing I can do about that, but comments like yours brighten my day. Thanks for watching and commenting, it means a lot!
Freaking awesome. I thought the beginning was a bit suspect but ended up being quite heart-rending. Well done to all involved.
Thanks a lot Paul, we really appreciate your kind words!
I enjoyed watching this and wanted this to be longer, it's good to have all side's of the Reaper explored as death is not just a collector of souls but is judge jury and executioner who has the power to send those souls to where they are needed the most! Thanatos (death/the reaper) a very interesting character. 👍
I agree with you. In fact, we explored the idea of making a web series to further explore the character, but, alas, life got in the way. Thanks for watching and for your kind words!
If he is interested, the "Incarnations of Immortality" series of books that begins with "On a Pale Horse" by Piers Anthony, is very good. It would actually be a very good series to do as a web-series, as all the stories are inter-weaved, as the reader finds out as the book-series goes along. Death, Time, the three aspects of Fate (Clotho weaves the threads of life, Lachesis measures them out, and Atropos cuts them) War, Satan, and apparently God.
I realise only now (writing this) that I have missed "Under a Velvet Cloak" about the Incarnation of Night, Nix. (gotta see if Indigo has it)
Thanks for the suggestion my friend, I'll look into it!
Tre bon plot twist.
Liked!!!
Merci!! Tout le mérite va à mon scénariste et grand ami Alexandre Lavoie.
I feel Terry Pratchet would approve.
Wow, that's incredibly high praise! Thanks for the kind words!!
Very nicely and professionally done. Was expecting Death to quicken the little one's passing to relieve his suffering. But to remove the cancer and give life .... excellent.
As commented, took a long time to get a couple of views and the odd comment. I am a fan of Terry Pratchett's "Death character" and there are a few videos on RUclips (mainly animations) with Death such as the "Death Fails" videos.
Thank you for your kind words, it means a lot! I didn't know about RUclips animations of Terry Pratchett's Death character, but I'll be sure to check them out! Thanks again!
I did not see that coming. I also love a depiction of the grim reaper actually being sympathetic and not indifferent
It was important for us to show that nothing's black or white. Thanks for appreciating!
Excellent. Well done. Make more please
Thanks, it really means a lot to everyone involved! And I'm working on another short as we speak!
Anybody notice the irony that Death was the cure for cancer.
He's old enough to be selective. And he still has mercy.
Superb little film. Great story, well acted, and fabulous production. This little film deserves so much MORE appreciation!
I was amused that we had to suspend belief - using bullets against an entity with no soft tissue? Huh? 😂 I loved it, and DEATH as the Hero in the fight against cancer - genius! 💙
Thanks for your kind words, friend!!
And even death is selective enough to kill only a small errant part of you giving you life. On borrowed time though because everything is eventual and nobody gets out alive.
Very good job.
Thank you.
Thank YOU for watching and commenting! Glad you liked the movie!
Different .... enjoyed this.
Thanks Fred!
Excellent
Merci!!
Very nicely done. Wish you had far more views.
Thanks friend!
6 months ago, before the algorithm did its magic, we barely had 600 views, so from my perspective, 12 000 is a minor miracle. 😄
Love the ending!
Thanks!! All credit goes to screenwriter Alexandre Lavoie, who really knocked it out of the park!
Nicely done. I don't know how the algorithm chose me , but im glad it did.
This is an absolute mystery for me too, but I'm happy you liked it! Thanks for your kind words!
THIS is why I chase the algorithm at 11pm at night. To get to these kinds of things. Loved this. Thank you!
@@ThatThermalGuy Haha, really glad you enjoyed the movie! Good look with your future findings!
😂well done!!!!!🎉
Thanks mate!!
Brilliant stuff ❤
Thanks a lot mate!!
Excellent!
Please sir, may I have some more?
Hahah, I wish it were that easy! Thanks for your enthusiasm; hopefully we get to revisit the character one day!
Very cool.
Thanks Greg!
Got me, completely in
Thank you so much, really appreciate this!
Man...I really enjoyed that...for some weird reason
Haha, whatever the reason, glad you liked it!
Very clever.
Thanks for your comment!!
Well done!
Thank you very much Larry!
Definitely a hidden gem
Thanks!!
Great short film
Thanks Eric, I really appreciate you taking the time to comment!
great
Thanks!
How you get this words, and what is your inspiration about
You'd have to ask my partner in crime Alexandre Lavoie, who wrote the screenplay. I merely took his great story and tried not to mess it up!
Thanks for watching!
Death is going to get me some day and I'd rather like to be on his good side. As if that matters.. everything is eventual and nobody gets out alive.
good , yesssss!
not really a comedy, but beautiful film.
Glad to know it touched you!
@@AlexandreMullen I enjoyed it immensely
I really appreciate your kind words! Will pass them on to the rest of the team!
I’m like #531
Add subtitles please.
Every line of dialogue has English subtitles, not sure what else I can do my friend.
