And... all 22 seasons of TG with them in it, and the specials. I have them all, including all the GT.
I am surprised these guys haven’t made a podcast but I also appreciate they haven’t. It’s crazy how popular but unpopular these guys are. I am the only one I know that is a huge fan of top gear and the grand tour because of these three.

The “prepay” system is simple. You swipe your card, it pre-authorizes a certain amount (depending on the gas station, but it’s usually $100-$250), you pump what you need, then your card gets charged for the amount you pump. If your card doesn’t work at the pump and the attendant asks how much you would like to pump, you could say $100 and if you only use $75, your card will only be charged $75. This prevents people from driving off without paying for fuel. It’s a very simple system.
I guess if your from the US sure. But definitely putting it in and then paying for it is just more common for most people.
They don't understand how fuel pumps work in the US and even parts of Europe 😂 . The machine has the card in its memory once you take it out of the slot. Depending how many gallons or fill up, it will charge the card afterwards.

You dont pre-pay. You just authorize them to charge you for the amount of fuel you take before you start filling.

Prepaying for gas means you can fill up on exactly the amount you need. Without leaving the pump. What do you guys mean? lol. It gives you the option to choose

First of all, you don't have to prepay for gas in America.
The trio need need a talk show with beer. No guests.

Prepay is only confusing if you're using cash. Even then it's not that difficult. And it's not universal practice in every state. Some states are worse and don't allow you to pump your own fuel.
Prepay is very logical when it comes to fuel because most people will fill up all the way and the card won't be rejected because it's already pre-authorized to make sure it goes through.
Imagine being stuck at the gas station with a tank of fuel that you can't pay for because you forgot your credit card.
You put the card in, it holds the info....you pump the gas....then charges your card for the amount. Can't be that hard, can it?
how is it hard to work out 'oh i have a quarter of a tank, ill put in $40 worth'
