They really make great pets. They're so chill you can just leave them sit on your lap and pet them and they don't care. I got the giant version myself. She's my big fat baby toad
I’m making little habitats for them in my garden. Many canes. I’ve found them sharing their homes- one upturned pot had 3 toads, at all times. Cannabalistic? I guess if food is scarce. They say that about the Agama lizards (FL), though I’ve never observed this. I find the females are very congenial and even share their food- somewhat.
I have a baby cane toad right now and it's terrified of everything. Is this normal? And will it grow to like me and eat off tongs like I see in other videos
Hey I need help I have 2 female and 1 male American toad the females have no problem eating and everything but the male being smaller likes to stay in this little log accessory and doesn’t like to get out of it to eat. I try and get the crickets in there for him but he doesn’t really eat, any ideas on what I can do? I can’t really get him out without force and I don’t wana hurt him
Something that helps with mine is putting her in a plastic storage bin so the bugs can't get away. And try different bugs to get them started. Holding them often helps chill them out too if they're nervous

Amazing educational video.
Thanks for watching!
Nice video, love all that info! Imagine the sound a toad that big would make jumping around!
If I heard that hopping around the forest at night - I'd think it was the end for me lol
Another fantastic video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video! Very educational. I can also tell you spent a lot of time editing (and it paid off).
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for the feedback

What to do if they will not eat
Theyre stressed and feel uncomfy in their surroundings

Have you ever milked it and smoked its venom
Wrong toad. You're thinking of Colorado river toads. Cane toad venom with just make you sick.
