    Hi Trond, I can understand your love of Shorebirds, they're a subject I find endlessly fascinating and my main focus.
    I was lucky enough to get a few images of a Purple Sandpiper recently, nothing super amazing but something to work from.

    Some people will envy you your camera, some will envy your lens but the only thing I really envy are your knees. The very thought of climbing down slippery rocks now fills me with dread!
    Old age sucks, enjoy life whilst you can.

    Wow Trond beautiful video. What I took from watching;
    1. Most folks would never notice such tiny birds in those ocean edge spaces.
    2. They are beautiful, intricately marked and patterned.
    3. What they were feeding on is probably non existent to the naked eye and fascinating
    4. On the ground is where the gold is found.
    Thanks!

    Enhorabuena Trond, los correlimos oscuros-Calidris maritima, son una de mis aves playeras favoritas. Aquí en el norte de España se alimentan al borde de la rompiente, todo un reto para el fotógrafo que con un ojo tiene que mirar el mar y con el otro a la limícola. Todos los años desde noviembre hasta abril les dedico unas cuantas sesiones, me encantan y disfruto con ello. Como trabajo al borde del mar suelo usar un vadeador o un traje de neopreno de tres o cinco milímetros de grosor, todo depende del frío de esa jornada. Un gran vídeo y mejor experiencia.

    I love shore birds. Here along the Great Lakes in the US, we have an abundance of them and waterfowl. Sure not the epic bears or lions lol, but there is a sense of tranquility by a large body of water and wildlife. Great video, Trond. Having a positive atitude is a major key in the joy of photography as you never are guarenteed a photo. Beautiful images, bro.

    Hi, I have a question about purple sandpiper. I have photographed them last week here in Oslo (bygdoy). I thought one of the birds were limbing, and seeing a similar limbing in your first footage
    Is it a behaviour pattern of this bird?? I couldn't see one of the legs in that individual sandpiper.
    And also they were approachable, and I got pretty good photos and videos in the evening sun, on my d500 &500pf combo.
    Thanks for your videos.. cheers
