- The spring is an amazing season for bird photography. The great crested grebe is a bird that I love to photograph. The courtship is what I am after. Especially the famous dance of the great crested grebe. I use the ground blind to get close to the birds without disturbing. I use the hokki blind from tragopan. Hope you find this inspiring and get out there and photograph waterfowls yourself.
Camera I use is Nikon Z9 and Nikon 600mm f/4 FL lense.

Great shots Trond, I have been taking photos of these birds last week with the young on there back, and the male bringing fish in for them.😀 ( love the videos).

Thw white frame on your photos really washes out your fantastic shots. Pls use black or a very thin white ffe on black.

I like movies like this, but with some animals that are not seen that often. But going to a park, a lake and shooting ducks is amateurish to me.
