As an Artist, there are times when you can do no more to express yourself then move. something in your core/spirit has to jump around. I just experienced this recently at my own show. Thom has never forgotten and seems to never fear fully expressing yourself. For this...I LOVE what he does and his music is brilliant. ~Spaceboy
Thank you! Got there early, was only 2-3 people back from the rail and was surrounded by a group of amazing fans who made sure I maintained that view :)
Thom doesn't play for youtube, he plays for the concert. May not sound good to you on video but I guarantee that crowd was overwhelmed with the experience
If we have to beg harv45 I'll be happy to! LOL I have watched this video over and over and I'm still getting the spine tingles of excitement as I did the first time... this is live music at it's best
I'm so glad that flea seems to really like this album, when i first heard about this line up i wasn't sure how much he'd be into it but they all fit together brilliantly
did we get eraser in HQ? I want Thom to break out into Sir Psycho Sexy or something :) "Sometimes I find the need to scream... aaaaaahhhhh!!!" And I want Anthony to cover Wolf at the Door. Really.
have you ever seen a video of radiohead live before? Thom has been 'dancing' since the band started. I'd chalk this performance up to him having a few drinks and wanting to have fun performing his song. I didnt realise that the Eraser and Harrowdown Hill were smash pop successes. If you think the Eraser was a 'POP' album I'd love to see what your opinion of an artsy indy album is.
the bass is almost exactly like the studio track. Awesome! The other songs basslines have way more low end to them which video camera's have a hard time picking up well. Just my opinion of why Flea doesn't sound as good on the other songs. But I wasn't there to see it, so I could be wrong.
The beauty of music / performance is that you can do whatever you'd like. I thought this was an excellent live rendition of the track off of "The Eraser."
you say you're a fan, don't consider yourself as a cliché, try to fly with the song (thom always place something in the right place when performing).. but this is such a great performance which transmits the angry theme of the song. Also it has some "true moments", for example, take a look at the last part of the song, it has lot of feeling involved.
oh I agree, I just hate the twats that say the vocals suck or whatever... You don't go to see thom yorke to hear him hit a perfect note, nor can a youtube video do this performace justice. You go for the energy and the moments. peace and love.
God bless Flea for A keeping a straight face, B also not dancing along, that took strength. At this point we're just willing victims, of Thom's personal raves
who said that live renditions have to keep the exact same mood of the record ? The point of a show is to add something to the original songs. Else what is the point to even bother going to a show ? You can just stay home and listen to the cd.
well not only Thom has been a big change...Chad´s been with the Van Halen veterans and Joe Satriani, Flea is learing music formaly...Anthony probably lost practice, and Johns been into much more experimental stuff...its going to be very intresting if they put their new chops at the table for the next album.
I don't agree. But still Thom Yorke is a great artist, i love Radiohead and the Red Hot. I was just joking about the fact that Thom Yorke is dancing in a funny way, and he's playing with Flea, from the Red Hot, a band who is known for dancing like mad men on stage.
WOW...I would die to be here, what a song. I will say that Thom seems a bit uncomfortable with "atoms." So many individual talents comprise of the band but they just don't slip into such an easy groove that I'm used to seeing radiohead go into. Flea and Thom don't seem to be on the same page; just playing their own individual parts rather than playing with eachother and off eachother. I love the idea I just want to see thom with radiohead again!
id rather him dance i mean he's still singing not to his potential but he's having a good time and which ever way he wants to play it is fine with me. but i understand what you mean
lol, Thom has been dancing like a nut for ages. Any song where he doesn't have an insturment he pretty much goes crazy. He;s not imitating Anthony Kiedis, sheesh.

Flea and Thom are incredible, so much energy !!! I like that song, but it's even better in live !!
Thank you! Got there early, was only 2-3 people back from the rail and was surrounded by a group of amazing fans who made sure I maintained that view :)
Yes, the drums were LIVE and extraordinary!
This song's supossed to be so serious, and he's dancing, i love that.
Thanks for this palpable recording
For some reason this vid captures this song nicely... so good!
absolutely amazing right there. I just watch that part over and over
I just fell in love with this video!
This is amazing. Thanks a MILLION for the videos.
FLEA "Slappin da bass!" (Awesome)
couldn't quite make it in to the show but this sure made up for it! :) thanks Funky Flea!
Thom doesn't play for youtube, he plays for the concert. May not sound good to you on video but I guarantee that crowd was overwhelmed with the experience
i love how much thom yorke gets into the music, its great:]
my fav song from the album
wow so lucky to be there bro
If we have to beg harv45 I'll be happy to! LOL I have watched this video over and over and I'm still getting the spine tingles of excitement as I did the first time... this is live music at it's best
Awesome performance!
Just great ! Slapping Flea and dancing Thom, what a crew ! This song sounds pretty good live !
@MsKatzo You're my hero for saying it like it is... There is intelligent life on youtube!
Thats amazing...
Just simply a "wow" moment... I'm praying this gets a tour over in the UK
Damn i love this video!
the outro made me headbang in my room so hard. awesomeness. just...perfect, this song, I wish there's a pro-shot though.
Thom Yorke reminds me of one of my favorite professors.
awesome footage - what kind of video cam are you using?? and is the audio off your recording or dubbed in?
wooooow thats unreal, I want to be there
nice sound quality!!
oh my you were sooooooo close! amazing videos thanks so much! and sooooo jealous!
i so wanted to be there!
did you get atoms for peace by any chance?
Yes, Yorke now i know i'm alive!!!! Magical
Excelente!!!!
you've got more of these? nice, mate. keep them coming. x
wooOoW it´s great
genial band of thom yorke!
Yes, Eraser in HD is uploading now (it says there's an hour and a half to go)
favorite song from yorke
you are our hero! :-)
Asi se ve una persona que AMA lo que hace :D
I'm so glad that flea seems to really like this album, when i first heard about this line up i wasn't sure how much he'd be into it but they all fit together brilliantly
Yorke looks so rejeuvinated here...full of energy and stuff
fucking amazing
@TheBoiLucas It is very much Flea :L He's in Atoms For Peace, Thom's touring band
The sexiest man on earth!!!
@AITDS
He's been playing "real music" probably since before you were born.
did we get eraser in HQ?
I want Thom to break out into Sir Psycho Sexy or something :) "Sometimes I find the need to scream... aaaaaahhhhh!!!"
And I want Anthony to cover Wolf at the Door. Really.
@MsKatzo It's nice to read a comment like that every now and then :)
I'd love to ask Flea what sort of effect learning Thom;s music has had on him - how will the next chili album be influenced by it?
what did thome yorke drink? he looks like high :) but song is awersome always...
have you ever seen a video of radiohead live before? Thom has been 'dancing' since the band started.
I'd chalk this performance up to him having a few drinks and wanting to have fun performing his song.

If you think the Eraser was a 'POP' album I'd love to see what your opinion of an artsy indy album is.
Thom york is dealing with his midlife crisis the right way!
I'm glad flea finally got a chance to play some real music for once in his career
i really prefer thom's stage moves here to the trance high like ones he does with radiohead haha
the bass is almost exactly like the studio track. Awesome! The other songs basslines have way more low end to them which video camera's have a hard time picking up well. Just my opinion of why Flea doesn't sound as good on the other songs. But I wasn't there to see it, so I could be wrong.
thom is stoned as hell in this concert...
This band is working out pretty damn good.
Superbe
Oh yeah -- and, Thom kept coming over and singing into the camera :)
The beauty of music / performance is that you can do whatever you'd like.
I thought this was an excellent live rendition of the track off of "The Eraser."
Thom is a guitarist genius
canon point and shoot camera with HD video. Audio is off my recording, not dubbed in.
this is fantastic
bass playing is crazy.
look at thom get down!
thom yorke and flea? jaja wow!
y, it's so cool?
I'm comin home I'm comin home.. to make it alright so dry your eyes. such a fucking desperately angry feeling behind this song.
you say you're a fan, don't consider yourself as a cliché, try to fly with the song (thom always place something in the right place when performing).. but this is such a great performance which transmits the angry theme of the song. Also it has some "true moments", for example, take a look at the last part of the song, it has lot of feeling involved.
What do you mean, sounds pretty much the same on the album?
yea, i meant what model. audio sounds good to me.
jeez, i just realised this is Flea with him! I see was said but yea didnt read and I'm thinking...this guy is into it man, reminds me of Flea ~_~
you're right, the eerie part at 2:00 is waaaay more effective at the original tempo
I see thats true its impossible for any singer to sound great in every performance. Even for a great vocalist such as Thom.
oh I agree, I just hate the twats that say the vocals suck or whatever... You don't go to see thom yorke to hear him hit a perfect note, nor can a youtube video do this performace justice. You go for the energy and the moments. peace and love.
im just after coppin its just thomo yorke no radiohead in the back groung
So true,Your comment sould made it as a top comment (and i'm working on that) :-)
God bless Flea for A keeping a straight face, B also not dancing along, that took strength. At this point we're just willing victims, of Thom's personal raves
@rafaelmadferit dude what is that supposed to mean? .....thom does what he wants.
3:46 = perfect
@zacharyhavens yeah
But this is hot performance! Wasnt too into others he did but this sounds great live
nice line but the lyrics "don't ask me ask the ministry" (of defence)...the songs about the death of david kellow
who said that live renditions have to keep the exact same mood of the record ? The point of a show is to add something to the original songs. Else what is the point to even bother going to a show ? You can just stay home and listen to the cd.
@billyhigdon wrong
@TITANIUMTOMCAT wrong
Ys it better when he does this song by himself?! oh thats y...he doesnt need anyone else!
is that flea? lmao
well not only Thom has been a big change...Chad´s been with the Van Halen veterans and Joe Satriani, Flea is learing music formaly...Anthony probably lost practice, and Johns been into much more experimental stuff...its going to be very intresting if they put their new chops at the table for the next album.

What? every time flea looks at Thom and smile's, Thom starts dancing even harder, and smiles back, they're getting along fine
I reckon this whole collaboration is responsible for the loosening up we saw on The King of Limbs.
@wailonkok well, he killed himself, but there was an incredible amount of pressure on him to do so...
1:26- 1:34 dont ask me ask the man ask flea :D we think the same thing at the same time ;)
@kurtisblow3000 WOOOAAAA!
that bass line was made for flea
id rather him dance i mean he's still singing not to his potential but he's having a good time
and which ever way he wants to play it is fine with me. but i understand what you mean
lol, Thom has been dancing like a nut for ages. Any song where he doesn't have an insturment he pretty much goes crazy.
