There's a special place in heaven for you, dude. For sure!
AND IT RAINED ALL NIGHT, FUCK YES !!
"I can see you, but I can never reach you" - this sums up how I feel about not being able to see this gig.
FUCK YEAH, rock on Yorke!
Love the percussion.
Yes - it still feels that way!
fckin perfect...how come it looks so beautiful
GOd yes! I've been waiting for this......
amazing!
hey, my traveltales, you are now my favourite person ever.
this song is amazing! "So i get into the rhythm, the click clikc clack, i'm too wasted too fight back" epic
i'd love to dance to this.
hahaha i agree :) its awesome
Just to ensure I avoid any potential backlash as a result of people interpreting the above as me 'dissing' Jonny, I'd like to add that I think he is a fantastic musician, and is an enormous inspiration to me. Colin is a fucking boss too though.
must have been insane to have been there in that crowd of only a few hundred. must have seemed like some kind of dream that should never end.
that bass line is sick
cheers tylerplatt
I think it's just all about NOT putting music into little boxes so we know were it belongs.. Fuck it.. It's all about freedom.. letting it out.. it fits..
yea he do seem much more into it, i saw RD at leeds this year and he seemed a bit like he just couldnt really be arsed to sing, so i can see the difference, bless.
I wouldn't say he is going for electronica. Im getting a heavy disco/dance feel about it. This is practically a Fela Kuti concert with some awesome bass. The Eraser was little more 'electronica' influenced, but the songs have so much more energy live, it blows my mind.
sounds/feels like the 'rapping' part of Faithless- Insomnia !
1:10 Thom channels Anthony Keidis :)
hahaha
@htennek2k high on what?
at least this is preventing any red hot chili pepper music from happening any time soon.
@matdddd hope you realize thom writes 90% of radiohead materiel
In this Video he reminds me of a freaky dancin mads mikkelsen and an old friend of mine called Szilard who lives in the Sudetendutchingstrasse and so on. scuse me while i light my spliff and so on. you know what i talkin about don't you and so on
sorry but what song is all the best, not familiar with dat one!
looks like he wears boxers.
this is a dumb comment, I'm sorry. Electronica is way too fucking broad to be able to define it. This is clearly electronica. Maybe not the way you enjoy it the most, but it still is.
I think Jonny would probably agree with you about him being overrated, modest as he is! I bet it's really embarrassing for him when he gets touted as "THE BEST GUITARIST EVER" etc., which frankly is a bit naff. To me, it seems that no one is willing to heap praise on his more subtle stuff, which I think is criminal. Such is the curse of the guitar though I suppose; you're always going to primarily be compared to other 'guitarists' by silly people, no matter what else you do.
