As usual I completely forgot to mention in this video I will be giving this car a proper shakedown for a good week before it goes up for sale.as soon as it’s ready to go I’ll put it out on Instagram 👌👍
Wearing a Rattarossa T-shirt? Plot thickens! I can see a 512 Boxer engine rebuild happening??? Chris would be all over it like a rash. Great video guys!
Great honest channel👍🏻 I’ve asked this question to 2 other channels who have some salvage cars amongst others - and they both ignored me so it here goes again... I have a genuine question If a person buys a CAT write off & insures/declares it as one & then has an accident at some point in the future & wishes to claim Would the insurance company pay out for repairs? Would they write it off (again) if damage was bad ? Or would they just pay out the original scrap value? Would the different CAT categories make a difference in this ? What would happen if the car is stolen ? Maybe you could do a blog on this subject as I’m sure people would be interested I’ve never bought one myself as it all seems too complicated. But for the money they seem great deals Cheers 👍🏻
Rob it's not just about the money, though I know that's a necessity when running a business. More importantly you are conserving the earth's resources and at the same time educating us who care. Bang on mate. From Chris dad's truck to viva to mk1 golf to the mini. Good on you both. I had a serious injury last year and its a joy to watch you both work at something I'd like to get back to myself.
100% agree. there's absolutely a satisfaction about being able to repair something and get it back into use instead of just disposing of it. these guys always underprice though, i KNEW rob was going to say 1995.... what an absolute bargain for someone.
I think you could stick another £500 on your price and still sell it easily, I doubt that the others that you mentioned on ebay have just had the timing chain and head gasket replaced so those 2 jobs alone would add value in my eyes. I've just had the timing chain replaced on my N18 Cooper S and it cost me almost £900 so I think you could easily get more. I can tell you're not a greedy bloke so fair play to you and good luck with all your future projects, love your RUclips channel 👌🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻.
I was thinking boys, don't sell yourselves short on the price... If the other cheapest is at £2.6k, yours should be about £2.5k, maybe? It's got all those new parts and what with your time and effort, I'd say that's fair? Plus it's a 12 monther to boot... Great vids as always, always love the details!
Making a decent wage doing something you both enjoy and are very, very good at is worth it mate. Fact it gives us guys the best content is a massive bonus for us too! Enjoying these projects recently. 👍👍👍
Whoever gets that R56 mini will get an absolute bargain! A first class engine repair. Nice work guys. I enjoyed watching every stage of that engine rebuild.
2450 is a fair price and a link to your RUclips page Any respectable mini fan would snap Ur hand off You've literally renewed the car and elevated to all worries Love the show ☺️
I really enjoyed the work you guys put into this. I don't think I'd be brave enough to own a BMW Mini myself given the engines are fairly well known for trouble, but this one is clearly a well sorted car and I think I agree with the others that you could add £500 to that 2K and still be selling a bargain deal to someone. I'm really enjoying where you're going as a channel, you're the likeable, Essex, salt-of-the-earth "Wheeler Dealer" lads of RUclips, and long may you continue.

Great rebuild videos on this Mini. The N14 engine has its problems but overall they are good quality cars that don't fall to bits with rust. Some lucky person will get a great Cooper S. Keep up the great work.
Thank you once again for the honest review and for being straighforward with your assessment of the financial side of things too. I am from UK living in Australia, and thanks to you and another top You Tuber (Not Economically Viable) I have decided to have a go at a Mini rebuild! Thanks well worth a subscribe.

Hi Rob and Chris, I love your vids guys, I saw first one few weeks back, subbed, and am a new fan. I now live in Canada, 14 years. I would just like to say your work ethic is superb guys, You will only do well from spending the few quid extra on all your builds and showing the vids, as it shows you gentlemen are as good as your word, trust stays with you for years, respect. Take care, be good, an if ya can't, don't get caught. Lol.

Hi Guys i stumbled onto your channel a couple of weeks ago and and haven't stopped watching snice. keep up the great work and its nice to see a couple of hard working , honest guys
Your dedication and persistence is unmatched on how you manage to continue to rebuild these wonderful British autos from the bottom to make it new and running again. As a do it yourselfer, I can relate even though I'm no mechanic nor expert, but manage to move on forward. Cheers from the States!!!
It’s been a pleasure watching the repairs on the Cooper, an excellent - sorted car for somebody now at a very sensible price. Where else could you find one with a video documented rebuild of all that’s been done. Pure honesty from you both, that alone makes it true value for money!! Awesome. 👍👏
That's value for someone given the new chain, rebuilt head and engine service. Was expecting 2 and a half...but under 2? That'll be out the door quick. Really enjoyed watching this build, thanks Rob and Chris.
