- That's a Cover I wanted to do for a long time but it never really turned out to be good enough until now! I added some little details and fills to it. For example the slaps in the chorus or even a little tapping fill in the second half of the song.
I'm still working on getting a better video quality especially in terms of lightning. So I hope you can see a development in the future.

I'm just jelly about the fact that he can play it but I can't remember the last time I played it has to be I do not know 5 years and counting and it has to do with the cramps in my left hand and my inability to see what I am doing and I would gladly trade my eyes for the release of the cramps in my left hand cause I don't have to see to play 😭😂
This is one of those songs that has a bassline so good it makes you feel bad for not being able to listen to it, even thought it really stands out. You did a killer cover and that bass is just beautiful. Totally looking forward to learn it.

Holy shit man, I'm just starting out on bass and love Death and metal in general and you made hard stuff like this look easy, kudos dude awesome job
I really don't think that chords are utilized as much as they should on bass in metal
They tend to muddy up the tone pretty quickly, and most metal bands tend to prefer pretty precise production, especially nowadays.
@Parker Hetzel Lemmy would agree. He had his bass cut entirely, and mids cranked all the way, I'm pretty sure. And Lemmy doesn't consider himself metal, either. Doesn't he prefer "hard rock"?

Parker Hetzel Ehh he turned down the bass on everything and turned up the mids and treble so it sounds like a super thick stringed guitar, but that man could play chords on a bass like no tomorrow.
Plus when you get into genres of metal with harsher tone, louder guitars, and lower tunings, chords are not as important as playing in time, plus as a bassist, play chords all the time is kinda exhausting (at least for me because I have a heavy gauge 5strimg set on my bass, and it is needed)
I use it to make certain parts of a song thicker
Very solid work. Even played it fingerstyle which is very hard for this song. Love the little slap accents as well. 11/10

You hit those chords the opposite way i approach them but apparently im not the only guy who thinks a slappy octave sounds great for the chorus. Great cover dude hellll yeah

@@roosolini7105 Well on the original Human press. Steve was barely heard. Itp was a little better I guess. But I was he would've stayed for Symbolic. That's when their tone got way clearer. Would've been great.
