    Sir, will the weight of MgO be more as compared to the magnesium ribbon taken ?Since it is a combination reaction!

    I have a question
    Why it happens that when we burn some substance in the air it always reacts with oxygen only because there are even more gases in the air except oxygen?

    • @ishika6802
      @ishika6802 3 года назад +4

      Because combustion can happen only in the presence of oxygen

    • @mahijha3114
      @mahijha3114 2 года назад +1

      Because oxygen is the most reactive gas present in the atmosphere . Noble gasses are inert and carbon dioxide is also mostly inert . oxygen is also the most reactive non metal .

      @@shivang5862 no it is exothermic bcoz Heat is released while this reaction takes place.. Heat released and absorbed is relative term.. Like if u r saying certain reaction is exothermic then it is not necessary that heat is not absorbed.. The primary reason is that The heat released is much more higher than the heat absorbed.. Hope O coud explain it to u:)
