He was recognized. MT and KB aren't so popular comapring to MMA or boxing. I'm not so sure that he would slaughter Thais these days. He was great, but there were better fighters than him, even from Europe. Still legend with agressive and nice, powerful style.

Even if you're blasting someone with boxing and low kicks, if your opponent lands some nice body kicks on you they could possibly win the round. That happened to Dekkers a lot.
There is no video that can do him justice. That's how good he was. He will ever be remembered as a legend. Still sad that he passed on. Imagine what he could have teached us over the years. He went to soon that's for sure. We miss you ramon
