    Hey man thanks for the video. I just pulled one of these tonight. I watched your video first and it really helped knowing all the bolt sizes. The only thing I really did different than you for future reference I popped the differential off. it will save you a shit ton of time wrestling the whole thing out. It’s just a couple of O-rings between the transmission and the diff. Six bolts. Then the transmission drops straight down. Also instead of taking the strut bolts out I popped the ball joints out. Got it out in about two hours.

    I got mine out in just about 3 hours but it sure was a pain to get back in with the transfer case attached. The bolt on the back side of the transmission wedged in between the engine, transmission, and the transfer case was a pain to get to.

    Thanks for the video. I have a 2011. I've had it for almost 3 years. I've had to have the clutch replaced every year since I've bought it. Apparently its littered with clutch problems. I've never had to change a clutch from normal driving in my life. I've only owned one automatic in 15 years. If the clutch goes out again I believe I'm putting a stage 2 in it and seeing if that helps the life of it. I wanted to see how hard it would be to change myself this time and save $800

    • @Chris.Rhodes
      @Chris.Rhodes 4 года назад

      @Richard Reina You have a standard clutch, and a stage 2, stage 3, etc. Normally they are for racing, or when adding power. They have more of a clamping force, look up stage 2 clutch on here there are all sorts of videos.

    • @Chris.Rhodes

      @@ilarrime1 yeah but there isn't two transmissions. one for automatic, and one for "manual mode" there isn't a clutch in an automatic transmission, you are electronically selecting what gear you want to be in.

      They should be very close to the same engine and transmission so this video would help you get it done. You'll need a basic socket set with deep well sockets, screw drivers and pliers. It will definitely take you a day or 2 to really figure it out. Always use jack stands for protection and safety glasses.
