Could you imagine if someone other than Gene played bass for KISS? They never would have become as iconic IMHO. They really had the perfect musicians for the group, and when new members joined the band, it just didn't sound the same from the writing to the production to the performance. The original 4 ARE KISS in my book.

That's right! In my opinion, it's damn hard to replace Ace and impossible to replace Gene. He had his unique melodic way of making parts... He's by far my fav bass player.

@@BassVSZombies Motorhead's Lemmy and Thin Lizzy's Lynott are the only other Bassists that sang more than Gene that I can think of.

Всегда любил эти треки-добивки. и всегда думал, что зря их в концерт воткнули. Они там никуда вообще, только сторону забить. С другой стороны, их надо было или в Рокенролловер тянуть, или писать два одинаковых альбома. Тоже ни два, ни полтора.

Уже всё, как сделали, так сделали. Возможно, поэтому их и любят как-то по-особенному. А включили бы их в альбом - были бы, возможно, проходные песни, о которых бы толком никто бы и не вспомнил.
