- Experiencing the refreshing waterfalls and incredible sunsets of Langkawi Island in Malaysia.
Our final stop in Malaysia before moving on to Thailand was recommended to us by so many other travelers we had met for its stunning beaches and breathtaking waterfalls. So we decided we needed to go see it for ourselves and spend some time on Langkawi Island, the Jewel of Kedah.
Not only does Langkawi have amazing beaches and lots of bars to sit back and relax in, it is also a duty free island which makes it a great place to buy things before heading home after your holiday in the sun!
In our short visit to Langkawi we took the time to unwind and relax after the hectic hustle and bustle of the cities we had just visited and experience our very first waterfall of the trip, the Seven Wells waterfall.
It was so nice cooling off in the cold fresh pools of the Seven Wells on such a blazing hot day and then being able to go to the base of the waterfall and see how huge and magnificent it is. What other way would you want to end a day than with a group of great people from your hostel crowded around a fire on the beach with some beers, watching the fiery colours of the sunset disappear into the night sky.
This video will show you what to expect when cooling off in the incredible waterfalls and relaxing in front of the beautiful sunsets of Langkawi Island, show you some things to do and serve as a rough travel guide so you know what to do when you arrive in Langkawi, Malaysia.
