So thankful that we have amazing people working hard to keep our beaches and environment clean. When I was travelling in Langkawi one time... I went on the river tour saw a lady from a different country on another boat so casually throw her can of coca-cola in the river. I was so upset by it but the abang tour guide/boat driver just manoeuvred his boat slightly and picked it up himself without getting upset at the lady. It seemed like he was jaded and that broke my heart more. Because it must be such a normal occurrence that he couldn't even be bothered to correct that lady... so disappointing that humans are the ones who destroy mother nature. I'm definitely becoming more self-aware with my trash after this. Thanks for sharing the video!
i've been watching living in a tiny house or in a campervan for quite sometimes, mostly they are from Australia, US and Europe and their van or house are totally offgrid. Im working in office 8-5 and living in a van is one of my bucket list. I'm very proud of you guys to been able to do it and all those people who you met were very passionate. it is live changing. We have the ability to go offgrid too but not for as many days as we want because water always requires refilling after 3 days max. However the solar we carry is sufficient for us to charge laptops cameras etc. Still learning and we hope to be able to continue sharing. 💚

FYI: In my travels around Japan I would pickup trash on my walks and hikes and invariably at the end to dispose the trash at the shrine the priest would admit me without paying entrance for my good deed. Adrian Ho we woke up to a thousand dollar view everyday for free. Watched sunrise n sunsets daily. Parked just 10 steps away to the ocean. Dana Hotel right near us n the rooms didn't even get an ocean access. Throw onto your Subaru a Pop up RTT coz its fast light n easy. 😊

Those 2 large dogs are so unnessary for your lifestyle. They might be uncomfortable too due to our hot weather. One is black and the other has thick fur . They also restrict your movements. That said, I very much admire what you are doing.
Hi Mike. Actually these dogs Roxy and Bo were adopted 10 years ago before we decided to travel. Within Malaysia they come with us and honestly they rather follow than stay home. We know this because when they hear us load up Vanhalen, they start barking and crying to pls let them come along. They run excitedly into the van and behave so well just to stay with us. Amazing. They are both outdoor dogs and are resilient to the heat. They swim a lot during our trips and they have by default become our little guards by night within our camp. They don't have many years left and what at first was a nuisance to us when we began traveling (because of the tight space in our van) now makes us very happy. We have bonded in ways we never have before when they were just house dogs. We have 2 cats that stay back and if you watch some of our older videos one of them came along with us too. 😋 We can't change our past decisions of adopting so many animals nor will we forgo our goals to travel by campervan. coolfusion18 yeah there isn't a "Pet Friendly" place in terms of a sign that allows pets but being respectful and responsible pet owners is key. Picking up their poo. Keeping them leashed and we'll behaved. Then people welcome them.

24 Hour Travellers No, its just that there's many of places you could try to explore or set camp like Chenang Beach, Tanjung Rhu, Kok Beach, cant remember what other beaches they've got its been awhile since I last traveled to Langkawi. I would like to recommend you to Kak Yan Nasi Campur & Pak Malau if you like food hunting. You could explore the island for some cool scenery , would recommend using a 4K gopro and drone too. Top notch quality. Btw, I'm really sorry you guys had to go through everything from picking up the litters that was on the beach, as a Malaysian im really ashamed. Well Im from KL but yes malaysians like to litter everywhere nowdays especially in the streets or beaches and because of that I would like to apologize on behalf of my local people. Seeing a foreigner cleaning up our mess that we made, I fee so ashamed. Why destroy what we have come to love. Beaches are meant to be clean not litter. I dont know whats wrong with the people, then again Im terribly sorry for what you guys gone through.

Yes Langkawi had a lot of trash everywhere. It's a Malaysian way to just throw trash anywhere. Because of this Lady educating the locals and caring to clean up, Langkawi is now cleaner than it was before.

coolfusion18 dogs stay inside Van no problem. No need to stay overnight on the ferry. It's a 2-3 hour journey.

Hi Maria - it's extremely difficult and you may risk losing time putting your dogs into quarantine. We don't do cross borders with our dogs.

May I know which ferry allow dogs? I was thinking to bring my dog to Langkawi ,contacted a ferry company but they said dogs are not allowed :(
All ferries are the same. We didn't get stopped. No one checks vehicles. It isn't border crossing - and our dogs never got out of the van.

thats why i will direct scold them who are throwing trash from car or in public places.. do you think this place is abah kau punya!! if they want to fight i will fight! for our clean country! is not hard to keep all the trash till you find a public rubbish bin or throw it at your own dustbin right.. its easyyyyy!

Yes Langkawi had a lot of trash everywhere. It's a Malaysian way to just throw trash anywhere.
Because of this Lady educating the locals and caring to clean up, Langkawi is now cleaner than it was before.

Org bule malah yg lbh perhatian. Harusnya jd malu kan tuan rumah tp jorok, malah tetangga yg sapuin. Buang sampah sembarangan kayak udah biasa. Problem sama jg di Indonesia. Sampah dan vandalisme
