Floor has been singing some of the most difficult songs/ setlists for the past 20 + yrs .
Actually their first song, "Our decades in the Sun" is from Nightwish's "Endless Forms Must Beautiful" Album... Apparently almost everyone cried quite a bit in the recording of this song... And that's why they decided they won't play it live. It's a heartfelt song for sure...
I have not make it... I was in the train back from Munich :) but rewatching this is always a joy. According to Decades in the Sun: It permanent on the setlist, she sang it also in Hertme. I always cry... and I can´t believe that the time is running so fast... next Saturday I am flying to London for the Nightwish show on Monday
Enjoy FM, that magical moment when Floor shouts "Wembley Let's Go!" once again. We'll be roaring for her & her brothers in metal a few days later. Cheers!
Our decades in the sun was sung in Dutch by Samantha Steenwijk for Floor at Beste Zangers 2019
The heavy metal cruise that was mentioned is called 70000tons of metal. 60 bands and 120 shows! I'll be cruising and rooming with a fellow FloorWorlder. You should come!

Christi!!! .....you talked of how Henk has come into his own in the METAL environment. Now he's done it. On Nov 27, 2022 he appeared on stage during a Nightwish concert! ...signing Phantom of the Opera. Such a thrill to see Nightwish welcome him into the fold and have him have his moment on stage during a REAL metal show. ruclips.net/video/-sjeujG24WY/видео.html ....this is recorded on someone's phone, so may not be the quality you need for your show, but is something fun to watch on your own ...seeing Henk Poort the Rock Star! I think you will love watching this. :)

Floor's voice can't sound the same on beste zangers as it does on a bigger stage. The reverberation is different in each place and also affects the distance between instruments and a luxury production for television is not the same as recording a large concert. Nor do the rest of the instruments sound the same, so all the sound we hear is different. Neither better nor worse, different.
