I'm Brazilian and I was so used to Brazilian manicure, which now I consider extreme if you check out some youtube vids. It's almost gross really, they go to town on the poor PNF lol. I'm so used to your technique, it's so much better and healthier too. Plus, they call everything "the cuticle", like most nail techs I've met here in the US. I always get asked here in Florida "do you want me to cut your cuticle or push it back" when I go to the salon. It was only watching your vids that I learned about the 2 separate entities, the PNF vs the cuticle. I bet the same goes for many of your viewers, you should do a poll asking lol
I know the Brazilian method. It is very invasive. I don't know why people are not up to date with the information. There has been a lot of confusion about what a cuticle actually is (vs. the PNF) but the recent research is from 2019 so most pros should be up to date.
That is such an interesting video! I noticed that you filed down the gel before removing this time. Was the original not a Shellac? Also wondering about your opinion as to why she had one peeling nail where the others looked so healthy. It’s lovely to hear you educating the client as well as us while you work 👏
Hello Ruth! Yes, I forgot to mention that. I didn’t know what the product was so I always file if I don’t do the nails myself. Even when they say it’s Shellac it usually isn’t. That nail we use often for peeling things etc. so it gets damaged this way often. Her nails were on a flexible size.
What is the difference between Shellac and Shellac Luxe? Also, can you recommend a true red by Shellac or the most popular red? I love this combination of colors and this manicure.
CND Shellac Luxe was a 2 step system with just the color and top coat. It also featured a very quick soak off. It was discontinued due to inconsistent results. In my practice it only worked for people with very strong, hard nails.
Hi , I love your videos ! I have a question for you because I use shellac colour since 4 years but I never mixed with OPI product during manicure. I always use CND base and top coat. Can I apply Opi colour ? Can I mixed color from different brand? It cure in the same way? Thank you so much.
Hello Sara! I don't recommend it. Curing is an issue. OPI and CND are cured in different lamps. Importance of Using the Correct Nail Lamp to Ensure Proper Curing of UV Nail Products. bit.ly/3RJWo5d
Hi Anne! This was not really an explanation video (at least that was not my goal). I just kept some pieces of the conversation between me and my client. :) I guess that got lost in the translation ;) (editing)
Thanks for the video! I'm a new follower now! Did you paint 1 coat of Bouquet then cure then paint 1 coat of Negligee then cure again? Or did you paint 1 coat of Bouquet immediately followed by 1 coat of Negligee then curing both coats together at once? Thanks in advance!
@@TheSalonLife wow.. I'm so excited too to see.. Will the result be the same as Meghan's nail or turn different in others?? Can't wait.. Thx A lot Ana greeting from BALI
Hi Sabrina! You're very right, it has been a long time since we have done more of the CND collection series. Right now we are missing a bunch of the CND's colours that are needed to continue the series. Some, sadly, we do not have access to here in Spain. However, we are working solutions. We hope to get more of those videos out sooner than later. Thanks so much! MSL
I absolutely LOVED this video! There is nothing like a healthy looking almost bare (natural) nail❣️ I wish I could do this to my nails!
Omg the polishing process is always so satisfying!! I loved this look so much !
Your client has lovely hands. Thanks for letting us watch you work@
I loved this … this make me fall in love with taking care of my nails again ❤
I love watching this. I find it very relaxing! Your client has beautiful hands and nails. My own are stubby and short, like a row of little sausages.

Here's an example of the Brazilian cuticle removal. ruclips.net/video/DFttF6w5FWg/видео.html

Love this!! “Negligee” has always been a favorite of mine. I’m going to have to try it with “bouquet” now. I also like “romantique”
I love these watch me work videos ❤️❤️
Thank you :))
This color is so classy and chic!! I’d love to see a video on your favorite fall nail colors :)
Such a beautiful delicate color. ❤️❤️❤️
I loved how you use the heating pad to speed up the removal process! Do you use the gauze with acetone?
Yes, I use acetone or Offly Fast by CND. Heating pad really helps!
I like this look but why did you use 2 different colors?

Great video! I was just curious; when you file in the end, doesnt that “break” the seal you created by wrapping the edge?
Hi there, no, it's just a light swipe to see if there are any catches that would later bother the client
Yes, this was my thought too! 🤔
@@TheSalonLife But where should these catches come from? And why only on those three nails? Just wondering...
from wrapping the free edge with top coat usually. You can see it or feel it sometimes.

Just beautiful .well done you. Can you just clarify you did 3 coats of colour plus the base and top coat? Many thanks Kate Hardy from the 🇬🇧.
It's up to you... depending what color/covergage you are trying to achieve :)

Really good camera angles. The music obscured your voice while you were explaining pushing back the PNF.

amazing as usual
Gorgeous!

Curing in between. Because you won't be able to paint over the first colour as it's not dry
❤️❤️ but why are you filing at the end? won't that prevent the nail polish from holding up well?
Just running the file along the edges making sure there are no catches or sharp pieces.
Wow fantastic 🥰😻
Beautiful
Nice video! What's the name of the background music tracks?
Paní má překrásné nehty)))))
Dziekuje :)
so beautyful, I love it
Thank you!!
Halo Ana pls try Unmasked and negligee.. It is meghan markle's wedding nail color
Sure, if I have a client who is interested in this combo I will film it :)

Did you use Offly or acetone, since you didn’t know the brand of gel she had?
I used Offly Fast. :)
What is that netting material you’re using for removal?
Hi Mel. They are a 2"x 2" 12 ply non-sterile gauze sponge made by Dukal. Thanks - MSL
When will you continue the CND collection? It’s been months!
