Pleaseee adhere to his advice on using the headphone bags etc as garbage bags 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 its so so so much easier on ground handling when cleaning
In many cases, I never take the headphones out of the package, as I use my own with a two-pin adapter. Can they use those same headphones?
@@gparyani even if you don’t use the headphone bags, if the airline provides vomit bags you can use those as well or any bag for that matter that is disposable it helps with turnaround time

I always tuck garbage into the seat pocket and hand it to the flight attendant when they come around for garbage. Or put it in my backpack and take it with me and dump it into a trash bin in the airport. People who leave garbage on flights are a POS.
A great thing about being a long time viewer is seeing the quality of these videos going up over time, I'd argue this is one of your best videos to date! great stuff guys, cant wait for more brutally honest!
I really like these videos that give an unbiased report on conditions on various airlines and aircraft types. It's good to be able to use these when considering booking on airlines you haven't yet flown on.
Firstly, what is so good about this channel is that it deals largely with economy flying which, lets face it, is how most of us impecunious fliers travel. Secondly ty for giving a shout out to the QA ground staff who fixed your problem. I was stuck in the Philippines after the pandemic started, having flown in from UK with Air China (excellent service btw) but they had cancelled all flights, leaving me stranded. The only options were Saudia and Qatar. The Qatar liaison officer was efficient, kind and helpful (I was panicking a bit by this time due to complicated Philippines internal travel) and QA did NOT profiteer on the ticket price. The 'plane was less than 50% full and service was excellent as well as kind and friendly.

Nicely done. Thank you. I've been meaning to try Qatar and this encourages me more. The only drawback with middle eastern carriers is having to stop in Doha, etc. as opposed to a direct flight. Thanks again.

I flew Qatar airways in 2019 from Lagos to Boston, and i must confess that it was a dope experience: the customer service and food were impeccable!

I fly once a month in qatar airways for Doha to Houston and back. Same aircraft and about the same amount of time too. I usually upgrade and get the q-suite but, I have to say either cabin has excellent service it really is a great airline.

I am impressed. I already flew 4 times with them, but to see them serve 3 hot times on a flight - even though it's a very long one - is amazing. And quality meals. Plus power outlets directly available right in front of you 👍🏽 Bravo.
I love Qatar Airways and Emirates. I flew from Dubai to Los Angeles on August 2021 a total of 16 hrs and 48 mins. Amazing flight, crew, A380 business was comfortable.

I flew QR recently from Montreal to Doha , Doha to Colombo and Colombo to Doha. Service is good. Doha Hamad Airport is excellent
I didn't know they brought the a350 for the LAX-Doha route. It used to be 777-300. I used to be ground crew when they first opened the LAX base.
Friendly reminder to be Kind to Your Flight Attendants…They’ve been flying overworked and understaffed, and are all human beings. The entire world is understaffed… be kind to those who show up!
I appreciate this kind of review that does not include videos of the flight attendants. This is very respectful to the hard working flight attendants.
As someone who used to work in a middle east airline, airline reviews are very dangerous for flight attendants because I know one airline who fires their people immediately if they are shown with a stain on their uniform, or if they dont get to check on the toilet (bec everybody is queuing and the crew are busy still serving meals - and people just throw trash everywhere thinking the crew are their personal nannies!) I can’t name the airline bec they are very litigious and obsessed with their social media presence to cover up the mess inside the company…
The RECARO CL3710 seat also has a neck support integrated in the headrest. Pull up the lower part of the headrest to deploy it, it’s an amazing feature. Try it next time

The cabin noise difference between airbus and boeing is amazing.
Top marks to Qatar for re-booking you on the later flight free of charge, many airlines would have charged you for a new ticket as you missed your first flight. Every meal looked tasty,
particularly the amazing mezze on your second flight. Hats off to you David for doing a 30+ hour journey in economy, done it many times myself, its not always this easy. The NFC reader
enables you to access contactless apps on your device including Qatar Airways Oryx IFE that allows you continue watching a move on your next flight as it saves your viewing history. It
also allows you to pay for items on board such as wifi. Every airline has cut back, however, Qatar still offer a premium economy product.
@@_w_w_ "The flights are practically empty" - You must be talking about Canada, the United States or the Far East. Flights are not practically empty coming out and going into Europe. I had six flights last month (2 on A330s, 2 on 777s and 2 on A350s, 2 were completely full, 3 were 80% full and only one of them was about 50% full.
@@_w_w_ again, flights from the United States might be empty. The world does not revolve around the United States. Flights in a lot of the rest of the world are as full as they were before the pandemic hit.

Really? Then you must not have flown much! If he missed the flight due to a delay or the original flight being late, they just book you on the next flight out and FREE! I have flown over 250000 nm in the last 1.5 year alone since my business volunteered me to do the trips (not my choice) because the others were hesitant and I have been rebooked, free, on every leg where I missed my flight. We are a small company and no corporate tickets. We book, travel and get reimbursed.

As always amazing review. But, why no reviewer talks about:
1. Their Height? Good leg space for one can be not so good for the other person.
2. Seat padding (especially back rest padding). Important for long haul flights. Is it wafer thin or mattress comfy. Just saying

We love the crew’s friendliness, the food (including our penchant for the savory snack), the relaxing ambiance and a host of other reasons. We even flew during the pandemic and are flying again with them next April to JFK. Well done Qatar for your consistency and pro-active attitude despite the multitude of challenges that Covid-19 has befallen the aviation industry.

I have been traveling by Qatar Airways for years. Before pandemic they offered hot towels, cheese, butter , menu card.... During pandemic they are cutting their expenses.
Kadhai paneer and dal makhni are my favorite too. Punjabi food is internationally recognised 😍

Another great video and I always fly Qatar Airways. The only negative is how they dramatically reduced the benefits when upgrading with points! You can nolonger get free business lounge access which was one of the main perks! That and the fact their bonus Miles offers have practically all but disapeared.
Valid point, Emirates are doing the same, some points Business Class tickets have 23kg luggage, no lounge access or chauffeur service and no dine on demand.
Economy with a flat bed, simple.

The meals were meager. No cheese/crackers/dressing/salt/pepper/butter. I wonder if that would have received a thumbs up on another airline or if they wouldn't have graciously moved you to the later flight? I appreciate the fact they did that without fuss, but seriously the flights weren't full!
You can survive without cheese and butter for a day.
Qatar is my fav airline. There's one time I was given a room at Melia coz my flight layover is more than 12hr. It was amazing experience with Qatar.
The seating was quite OK, though if the seat in front of you were to be reclined it would be a bit snug. The food service was very good for Economy. I would not expect three choices, nor would I expect metal cutlery and the snack bar in Economy! The price for the wifi seemed lower than some other airlines. The food choices in the lounge were also impressive. A good flight experience!

15 hour flight... I can't do it my last 8 hour flight felt insanely too long. I have a 10 hour flight coming up and I'm not looking forward to it lol.. 15 hours man props
David, if the adjacent seats were filled and you had to sleep/rest in your seat only, how comfortable was the seat? Were you able to sleep in that seat? Did the seat's backward tilting angle was comfortable to sleep?
Good question. Can’t review an airline in economy class if you have a row of seats to yourself , that is extremely inaccurate as an experience as most times , we fly at busy times when all seats are occupied. If you have a row of seats to sleep on , even the worst airline can seem comfortable to a person like me who just needs to sleep
I have flown too Thailand from London numerous times times using Qatar airways with the exception of using Air India once(which I would never recommend). Qatar airways planes are very comfortable and the service is always good, but the prices for flying with Qatar seem to be a lot more expensive than other airlines now.
True but we get what we pay for. I heard they pay their aircraft employee way better than their competition so they have to make it somewhere. Plus, we see that in employees always so nice and courteous.

I had a great 14 hr flight from Boston to Doha with the "real" Qatar Airways also. The staff was polished and amazing.
Any advice for surviving a long fight? I have a 13 hour flight coming up and dreading it. My longest flight to date was 5 hrs and I was climbing the walls by the end.Thx
Drink lots of water! Like, bring at least 1L with you, even if it costs 10€ at the airport. Staying hydrated helps so much on long haul flights!

I fly every year from YUL to DOH, and back 6 months later. I can't sleep inflight. One time took Japan airline to save money, it was nightmare (had to go by US). Qatar, the best airline for that kinda flight!

Spot on. I've flown Qatar numerous long haul from NYC to doha-bkk. Yes everything is as mentioned, however, not all of us have that frequent flyer status and he fails to mention, there is a lower quality Silver lounge available for members that haven't reached Gold+. And it is still good but far more crowded(and less seating available(even towards the end of the pandemic.) but Also, if NO frequent flyer status, Hammad airport is a quiet airport and provide numerous lounge rooms to get a good rest in during longer layovers(but the food options are limited and often space is very hard to get.
I have shown the Silver Lounge in the video and mentioned that it is the only lounge one can go to with a Oneworld Sapphire status, which is unusual. Normally airlines allow Sapphire status holders in their regular lounges, but Qatar Airways bans them into an inferior lounge which is very impolite.

This is the best airline and the best trip I have been on I have been on the same fight but it was longer but I have went from LAX to DOHA and from doha to EGYPT and that is the longest flight time in the world bc it can be up to 40+ hours long
