I am once Again Redrawing old art. This time it's a Cloud dragon speedpaint in Krita.
This one's 2013 vs 2022
A dragon from my Middle school sketchbook from when I was 11 vs the same art now that I'm 20. The quality of the art itself has changed, and so have my tools and design style.

Q:Do you use a tablet for digital art?
A: yes, I have a Huion kamvas 16(2021). I wouldn't recommend using a mouse for sculpting/ painting, it's really slow and kinda bad for your hands. A cheap pad tablet is pretty good to start with though, you don't need a fancy screen tablet.
Q: will you make a tutorial?
A: maybe, at some point. I'm still learning myself, and there are loads of people way more qualified to teach stuff.
Q: How do you join 2 objects together in blender and smooth the transition?
A: Joint the objects with ctrl+j, then remesh in sculpt mode using shift+r to set your mesh resolution and ctrl+r to apply

@@4000_Cande lol nah I'm just focused, you actually have to talso in a really exaggerated happy way to come across as happy in audio it's really annoying

I struggle quite a bit with shading certain things like leather and iridescent stuff. Ive tried using references many times but its pretty hard trying to find references on how to cell shade those things instead of, y'know painting. Someday ill figure it out. At least ive got metal down pretty well! Baby steps.

Ye I'm not good at different surfaces, even with painting, cell shading is a whole nother beast

I love how the colors in the grey give the dragon an iridescent feel! I also like using the not-horizontal horizon technique. It really does make your piece more dynamic. Your painting is lovely! Keep doing what you’re doing 😊

I love the art where the horizon is not at its traditional horizontal angle. It’s like there is no definite floor, and it gives it that falling/flying feeling. I think the angle of your painting is a great choice for this amazing piece!

I don't know how many times I tilted the horizon angle. I do it almost every time I draw a dragon flying.
