Good review of this beast of a vehicle and very spacious. I like the flush mount monitor into the console. Hopefully most PD departments will follow.

I hope the chief follows up with a full cost comparison between a gas powered police vehicle and the Ford Lightning over 3-4 years. Thats valuable data to determine if these are good for the taxpayers or not.

Well research already shows that, when comparing the cost of charging versus refueling, an EV costs the same as paying $17 a gallon at the pump.

@@stobe1563 Read that research a little bit more closely. I’ve read it and it includes all of the money that Biden is spending to build a charging infrastructure in that $17/gallon among other costs that are not incurred by the EV owner. That research is as honest as the infamous “hockey stick” graph that a Penn State University professor published a couple of decades ago to lie to people about global warming. Unfortunately there really isn’t any honest research on EVs that I’ve seen because it’s all slanted and is done to further an agenda, not discover what’s true.

@@stobe1563 Clearly you don't own at EV. It costs me $10 to charge mine from home. The chief already said their electricity hasn't gone too high.

    What a joke.

How is a fast patrol vehicle with plenty of space, enough range for a full shift, and cheap fuel a joke?
