@@SkylineBaronPilot I attend the EAA 690 chapter at LZU. They do a pancake breakfast the first Saturday of every month and have a very active Young Eagles program. Have never flown into GE99 but went to Rabun Gap Nacoochee School which is very close to that airport. My father and I built 80% of a RV-7 that was finished by JR Pigg N779PJ.
Another great flight from Valerie the Queen of Cool. Your attention to detail and knowledge of the aircraft and flight, give you a high level of expertise that is difficult to surpass. Hope you have Fun in the Sun.
Thank you so much for this Video. This year was my first Sun n Fun visit. Flying in is definitely on my bucket list and watch this was amazing. So surreal!
Capt. Val, always great to watch you work your magic as you descend into a very busy airport. Always a pleasure flying along with you. Thanks for Sharing! 🙃🙂🙂
Love your videos, as always. I'm a bit confused by the ATIS broadcast, though. The NOTAM procedure for 2023 was to fly to Lake Myrtle, *then* fly west to the power plant. I didn't hear them mention Lake Myrtle at all. Did they just not use it? That's really strange.
Captain Val, you should consider changing or upgrading 1879 Lima's left yoke to match the cool Avidyne screens and your always well-manicured fingernails. I've been watching your videos for a while (from the first one with Steveo) and even watched the avionics upgrade. That yoke has seen better days and sticks out like a sore thumb.
Sebina, you're absolutely right! 😬 We need to obtain samples from a company to ensure they match the rest of the plane. Although it hasn't been high on my priority list until now, I realize it must be addressed. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
He may be brand new to GA, but I didn't see anything that said fear. Of course, Val, you made it completely safe and sane, AND gave him an experience he will remember thirty years from now. 55 years ago, I took flight for the first time and remember it like it was this morning.
Never be afraid of going around, this should be one of the first lessons pilots learn! So cool to taxi right past the KC-135 tanker. Thanks for taking me along on this adventure Capt. Valerie!
Very cool video of A Nice Flight & Butter Landing! I've been flying for Over 40 years, many of those years as a Commercial Air Carrier Pilot. I'm Semi-Retired Now and looking forward to flying one of My Personal Airplanes to some of these Fly-Ins & Airshows. I have a Citation III & a Cessna 172. Perhaps I'll see you there one day soon.
Hi David, Glad you enjoyed this flight! Thank you for flying along. I hope you can join OSH at the end of July or the next Sun n fun! With your background, you will absolutely love it! ✈️💫

G,day "Captain Valerie" from Sydney Australia. Very good approach into Sun n Fun. Why should it be anything different, from landing on a RWY at another time of the year? Do they broadcast special events NOTAM and constant tower instructions, to assess your stress levels? 🟢 🟠
