  • Today we are heading to Cumbria, in North West England. Join us for 15 courses at L’Enclume, which is located in a small sleepy town called Cartmel. The founder and Chef is Simon Rogan. They received the first Michelin star in 2005, a second star in 2013, and its third star in 2022. They currently hold the number one spot as the UK's Best restaurant according to The UK Good Food Guide.

    Honestly, this video was fantastic. But I can't pay attention to anything with the majestic sommelier's mustache. I'm too distracted.
    I will say I love how this puts in so much emphasis on the food and less on modernist cuisine. I think that's forgotten quite often. Would put this on my bucket list.

    • @Chzydawg
      @Chzydawg 2 месяца назад +18

      Can't agree more.
      Everything on the menu looked like it was done purposefully. Too often chefs think about how they can utilize modernist techniques rather than should they. Everything looked clean, nothing looked out of place.
      Great moustache gets the browny points on top.
