i once left my old saab just over a year without starting it up.. i sold it to a friend who really needed a car after his car broke down. I only connected the battery back on and started it up, and it came up with the exact same stability control warning. it even had the "shakes" for a minute or two like yours... i drove the car that day for maybe 10 miles, changed the oil and filter and its still running to this day. i owned the car for 4 years and he has had it 2 years now. 2.0t vector sport 140k miles (when i had it)
Ok but what happened to the Arc?... i don't think we ever got a story as to what happened to it and judging by the numbers on the windshield it seems like you may have got rid of it at some point?
I'd say I'm surprised, but I'm not! Saabs are very reliable cars and even though this one has had some rough patches, you've always taken very good care of it. I still need to get a b207 9-3, probably a 2004 or 2005! It'll look nice next to my Turbo X 🙂
I finally have onstar on my 08 something I wanted for a while since 03 onstar is not supported such a shame ...that 9-3 has some killer rims :) icm 3 is a must for the arc
Good to see it back up and running! You should put the Nav screen display from the ‘05-07. My Arc has it and it looks better than he stupid little green screen thing. There isn’t really any need for that one since it has the other display up by the windshield which is significantly better. Also have you considered putting a slightly bigger spoiler on there? Mine has a small Spoiler (a little bigger than yours) and it looks great
You probably have the same spoiler; this is the standard Aero spoiler. As for the screen, I don't think I really want to. It's pretty outdated and not easy to find :(
@@AutoAutopsy That head unit is integrated with everything else in the car and uses fiber-optics to communicate with most components. I think the story is GM wanted Saab to use one the existing GM systems for the 9-3 but the Saab team in Trollhattan completely ignored that and developed their own using fiber-optics. Marrying and making it work to the Nav screen unit that isnt even updated to newer roads is a bitch, and not even worth it. This is the one thing I fucking hate... Just to update the damn radio so something that sounds badass... cause the uglyass radio in the Arc sucks... majorly.
Nice to see the Arc again! The stability control failure code should disappear after you've driven the car (as long as there isn't a real fault). These errors can be triggered by a weak/dead battery or if the car sits without power for a long time.
ihave a o7 9-3 , yeah most of that can be buffed out , my car i got free because the immobilizer key went bad . i ordered a new immobilizer key and a programmer , the car has 107 00 miles

If you like the SID on the 03-06 models, you should really get an eSID. Maybe you can even do a sponsored video with the guy that makes them. Check out esid.se or Maptun. I got mine updated to latest version last month, and its a really cool gadget. You can see all kinds of info, and get extra functions for you car like multi-blink indicators, automatic foglights, different unlock lights, automatic mirror folding and more.. Check his site for full list of features.
Good car for sure , if it’s been well looked after by previous owner. I have a ton of videos on these cars on my channel so feel free to browse around and ask questions as they come to mind
Salomondrin? Meh, take it or leave it. Doug DeMuro? I’ll skip to the Doug score. Daily Driven Exotics? Way too bro. Auto Autopsy? Every video, beginning to end, every single time.
Who’s excited to see the Arc back on the channel? Thumbs up if you are! 👍🏼
Where was it for the last 2 ys? I'm interested as I follow since the day you got this :D
ME!
Yay! Thx for bringing the Arc back, enjoyed your video.
Thanks, Derek

Wow, great!
Awesome man! Congrats. It’s amazing it started right up after sitting for so long.
Can’t wait to see its progress .
Thanks! I'm excited too
Your 9-3 had a hard life these past 2 years. Glad you have it back. It's clear whoever had your car didn't care for it the way you would.
It'll be back to its glory soon :)
This channel needs more subs and views

I'll possibly explain that in a later video. For now, I don't really want to discuss details :) sorry!
Where was it? I have the same bad clear coat spots as u! It spreads fast! I need to do something about mine as well. Good to see it’s back!!
I thought the later models of the Saab 9-3’s had OnStar but know I know that your Arc has it
I think older ones have it too
My 02 9-5 has OnStar.
Cool. Looking forward to more content.
:)
Glad to see the Arc
:)
Heck yeah! Welcome back Arcie!
Also yeah, I've got the same issue on my roof as well.
:)

For sure; would make a good daily to keep the miles off your X too
so what even happened to the car? did you sell/rebuy it?

Yeah, it's completely worthless in this car haha
not bad with skunky gas....the stc error maybe cause u had it kinda jacked up...good to see the arc again... hershey pa here take care jimmy
Yeah! I'm not super worried about that code right now :)
saab forever and ever

I found the icm3 in a junk 2.8.
It's now in my 2.8, and looks so much better then the green screen.

Thanks, that’s what I’m hoping for:)
I had that error after driving in a heavy downpour. After it dried out, the error went away.
Where was the ARC for two years?
I have a 2006 version with a secret factory tune and Aero suspension. Handles very well but my 2002 9-5 Aero is more comfortable and goes harder..
Cool :)

Where did you get them wheels! just got me a 2004 saab 9-3 linear its got 69k one owner, runs like a champ. nice vid
They’re sport edition p3 wheels 18x8. Bought them shortly after I bought the car about 3 years ago
Can of fuel system cleaner, oil change and she'll be good to go. Love to see them start right up. :-)
Stage 1 or 2 on that one?
Yep! Just threw in some fuel cleaner last night. Stage 3 :)
@@AutoAutopsy Sweet! Any issues noted when you went to St3? The exhaust sounded a bit different than mine at St1. Non-stock pipes....cool.
What can You tell me about the ARC badge? Where does it sit in the rankings of SAAB's?
Linear: base
Arc: luxury
Aero: sporty
At least that’s always been my understanding of it :)

Hi, I'm Rob from Holland. Do you know where you can jack the 9-3? Like the "safe-spots" under the car, without damaging the car.
Thanks
There are arrows on the side skirts where there are black blocks to lift the sides and the rear is the front center of the frame the rear has two spots on the side under the spare tire well
I usually use the areas near the arrows for the jackstands themselves and use the sub frame in the front to jack the car up
I do the exact same as above . ...had someone else jack it
and the oil pan was damaged :-(
Is the Top Gun soundtrack still stuck in the CD player?
Of course. Played it as soon as it started. I’ll be off to the #DangerZone soon!

What is done to the exhaust
It's custom. 3" turbo back system with a AP high flow cat and resonator. No mufflers. Here's a video on it: ruclips.net/video/ul7GAfFEL-o/видео.html
What's the best downpipe or exhaust for the arc?
Krona
What exhaust setup do u have on your ARc here?

Ahhhh can’t wait to get mine on the road but it needs a lot more work than yours lol
