Really good video and worth the watch. The only issue I have is saying "Palestinians" were displaced in 47', since during that time "Palestinians" described both Arabs and Jews living in the BMP. If you asked an Arab then and there which country he would like to belong to, it would likely either be a greater Syria or a pan-Arabic state, and there was no Palestinian national movement until the late '50s/ early 60's - when Arab leaders decided to cynically utilize the refugees' plight as a political tool to fight the Zionists.

Palestine isn't a dump filled with refugee camps as the "leftist" public would like to believe. It's got majour cities and a commercial culture like the rest of the Arab nations in the Mashriq. The middle class there is thriving and actively flaunting their relatively expensive vehicles on the streets.
@@iSyriux Oh absolutely! But that was a small percentage of the territory. A massive part of Mandatory Palestine was made up of desert and swampland populated by Bedouin raiders and scattered small villages of fellahin. When Zionists came, they drained the swamps with Eucalyptus trees, created canals to move water around, dug up soil from under the sand (where possible), redistributed fertile soil from the swamps, and on occasion imported soil from other places. They made modern farms and towns, brought electricity and modern medicine to many of the small villages, and turned large parts of the no-man's-land into usable land. Sure, there was a thriving middle class in Mandatory Palestine, but the average Palestinian at the time didn't even own a bike, much less a vehicle or an expensive vehicle. The city-dwellers may have had bikes and cars, but their upper-middle class was small and it was comparable to the lower-middle class in most first-world countries at the time. Nowadays, Palestine is doing much much better, and let's just say that it wasn't the other Arabs who made things that way (though they could've if they had wanted to).
I do wanna point out that the Irgun was far from "Radical" and usually people don't call them that way. Also this attack was very controversial. The Haganah at first were on board, but only at the last day decided to back out. Also there was a reason - it was decided after the Black Saturday, and they thought the British wanted to try and break the Yishuv and dismantle it. This called for action that all the militias wanted to do, especially there because all the files were at that hotel since it was the HQ (this is also one of the main reasons why they wanted to bomb it - to destroy the files there)
Mr History u are the most under estimated channel ever .but i have some ideas that would be really interesting like a video for world war 2 and the story of italy or Uk or Russia or the history of christianity and islam
It summarizes it so simply Jews were the natives, conquered, enslaved, killed and exiled many a times Islam or had no physical evidence of any sort to make a claim except out of thin air which they did to build the mosques Jews wanted a state, not at the cost of the local Arabs' freedom but Arabs never wanted a single Jew Violence was initiated by Arabs every single time. Israel retaliated often a times violently which caused Palestinian deaths in massive numbers.

Nah, I'd say that goes to the Romans... or maybe the British. Yeah christianity spread all across the world, but that was also because of the romans.
@@yourmum69_420 A. Jews are much smaller group than both the Romans and the Brits,

Personally i kind of hate both for the bad stuff they have done and love both for the good parts.
I hate religion and that’s why I hate both, they’re both using religion as a tool for conquest, Israel is abusing the strategy more though

This is so helpful. Thank you for putting all this history together
So displacing Palestinian is OK if they are not called Palestinians but rather Arab-Palestinians?
@@ahmedavci2927 it’s false to call them displeased. The Israeli government decided not to kick all the Arabs out of the land of Israel the reason why they all left was a natural cause of a massive war that Israel didn’t start.

loved this video, genuinely very unbiased and based. my two smaaaaall issues with it are the fact that the murder of british policemen and soldiers was almost entirely carried out by the Irgun, an extremely radical group, and those actions were denounced by the Yishuv (the Israeli government before the country existed) and by the Haganah (the israeli army/mossad before the country existed)
and the fact that you forgot to mention how most of palestine was uninhabited, useless desert before the zionists came and made it a beautiful country, and you also didn't mention how the quality of life of the average palestinian all throughout the country was drastically improved when israel became a country
This called for action that all the militias wanted to do, especially there because all the files were at that hotel since it was the HQ (this is also one of the main reasons why they wanted to bomb it - to destroy the files there)
SO HELPFUL for whats going on today! Thank you
Mr History u are the most under estimated channel ever .but i have some ideas that would be really interesting like a video for world war 2 and the story of italy or Uk or Russia or the history of christianity and islam
It summarizes it so simply
Jews were the natives, conquered, enslaved, killed and exiled many a times
Islam or had no physical evidence of any sort to make a claim except out of thin air which they did to build the mosques
Jews wanted a state, not at the cost of the local Arabs' freedom but Arabs never wanted a single Jew
Violence was initiated by Arabs every single time. Israel retaliated often a times violently which caused Palestinian deaths in massive numbers.
Good thing on having no moral standards. They cant nail you to it. Tahts why Israel is shown as the aggrsive one in this conflict. Or like if in dubai a gay man gets hanged its everdays buusiness, would it happen in Israel the world would react.

Would the dynamics of this statement change if hypothetically the Palestinians were distant Jews who converted to Islam, and the ones that have Jewish lineage (whether that be voluntary or forced conversion) who now embrace a Palestinian identity, would they technically not have a right to return of lay some claim at all?
