@@leelunk8235 no because learning how to fly comes from practicing on the ground, so your feet never leave the ground until you fully know how to operate the aircraft
Depends on wind speed If you lift the wing not crossed in high wind you can get knocked off balance and trip/fall down Same thing in toooo low of wind to start with the lines crossed. So you need to decide as a pilot what the wind speed/direction is and if you should launch with them crossed or not.
I would lov to do this u wanted to make a done to fly also it would have wings as well in case something happened to one of the motors I could glide it down also to back up motors to help get a safe landing all about safety

other reasons you have a parachute....
If your motor dies you just glide down, and if your main glider explodes or something you have a reserve parachute as well.
