No way those 3 women could pass a physical challenge of a man.
Wray just described how standards have been lowered. You can now enter the FBI Academy without first passing the physical fitness test.
Example: that female Secret Service Agent that was on Trumps detail had zero business being on that team. She was completely out of shape, was confused and appeared scared and was actually tucking for cover. She couldn’t run the 50 yard dash in 30 minutes
And that concerns FBI how!!!

Jeff Van Drew is right on the money... I can't see how shorter women can possibly pass the same test that a man over 6 ft tall can pass.
They can pass and still be unfit. How can a five foot seven inch woman possibly protect someone six foot three inches? And 50 pounds heavier! It’s impossible.

@@DavidLLambertmobile Physical fitness translates into muscle memory, hence quicker reaction time. Muscle memory bypasses the ' oh wait a minute I have to think about this' type of reaction that seems to be going on with those women.
Body builders, anyone in sports...(where reaction time is the difference between winning , losing, or getting injured) .... dancers, construction workers, waiters, sailers, deep sea fishermen, acrobats, gymnasts etc, - basically anyone in sustained physical effort involving spatial awareness and a time-element to the conclusion of the activities has a better chance of being a high achiever where quick reactions are required.
A person using one's body within a defined set of time-bound objectives, while using many muscle groups, many concurrently are the ones with the experience and confidence to get the job done.
And there's a high probability that their cognition is positively effected by this both-sides-of-the-brain usage too.
This combined use of a trained, physically fit and aerobically cross-trained body has a most positive effect on dopamine production, and confidence , thereby increasing the probability this person will continue to be fully engaged in physical fitness into the future, as it becomes a source of pleasure and positive chemical feedback in the brain.
Physically fit people -in these ways -are the ones you want in your 'life boat' when the stakes are high. Anyone else is a drain on you or your organization, as they tend to turn any conversation towards their 'victimized' status ,in an effort to make you answer for and compensate for why they don't take personal responsibility .
PS I am a woman and experience the vital effects of exercise and movement on all aspects of my health , as well as my quick reaction time. And I would in no situation want those three women doing anything for me that involved anything vital, or even mildly important.
The lack of honesty and moral integrity in our government will be the death of this country.
Airlines and I'm sure all businesses are experiencing the same thing. Airlines have waived the 2 years experience rule. We are hiring young kids with new licenses right out of school. They don't know the basics. They don't want to work weekends or night shift. They are more concerned about their schedule than learning how to fix the airplanes. We have failed this generation.

Once you graduate, the standard changes. Rank and file agents have a much lower standard. Wray’s answer was carefully worded.
Has he looked at the Videos of the way they where running around and how Pat couldn't put her gun back in the Hoster.
So why arent they given yearly checks on their physical fitness because what I saw in the video was several overweight SS agents.
The standards may not have technically changed as the director suggested, however he just onve again showed how incompetent the government is and how much waste is being allowed.
Why in the hell would you even allow a person into the program if they can't even pass a pre-qualifier that would save a ton of time and money. It's just like why would I spend my time and money marketing to someone who doesn't have the financial resources to afford what I'm offering.
This is the flawed mentality of government mindset because it's not their money they are responsible for.
So the current protocol is to spend lots of time and money on an individual who still may not be able to pass what should have been a basic and an initial disqualifier. Especially if they are looking for the best of the best, which they should be.
Why didn’t the committee ask why USSS agents were replaced with DHS agents they are not the same and they are definitely not trained to take a bullet.

The "standards" haven't changed, however, the way they are applied has. Words on paper mean nothing if they are ignored by those applying those standards. If you have to provide cover for DEI, then it's not fit-for-purpose.

Drew outlined a whole list of problems that retired agents told him about with new recruits due to changed standards and Wray only defends one of them "Physical fitness".

It seems he is stating things in such a way that he is not lying but obfuscating the truth - much better than former director Cheatle but still not what the American people need to know.
Stop it. If you had to pass a test before even being admitted to a course, but now you have the entire course duration to pass the test, you've relaxed the standard. They went from "you have one chance", to "keep trying champ, you can do this!" "Everybody" but Wray is lying...Nope.

So, before one had to pass the physical fitness standards before going to Quantico (and continue those standards thru training,); so now you show and don't pass you get to participate in remedial PT until you pass. Guess what happens if they get their badge? They more than likely are not motivated to keep up the standard unlike the people who pass the standards before they go to training.

Maybe they didn't lower the standards on paper, but I'm sure they give waivers all the time when they fail. As a 30-year veteran, I saw this on my way out of the service in 2022. The military is a mess now, too.
The FBI is not picking people who don’t want to work weekends or holidays. That is who is in the hiring force. Los Angeles County Fire Department is facing the same thing. New recruits feel the same way and don’t care how their attitude affects everyone on the job. It’s pathetic. Happy I retired early.

If before you had to be, let's say, a level 4, to enlist, maybe by the end of training, you'll be at a level 8 or 9. But now they'll be satisfied if you're a level 4 at completion..
