Starting Nail Color: one coat of Orly Rubberized base coat, two coats of Sally Hansen "Friends" Miracle Gel nail polish, "Lavendoor," one coat of Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Crystal Top Coat, and one coat of Nail-Aid Quick Dry Glass Shine top coat.
Final Nail Color: one coat of Kur nail concealer, one coat of Orly Rubberized base coat, two coats of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri nail polish, "Zip Wine," one coat of Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Unicorn Top Coat, and one coat of Nail-Aid Quick Dry Glass Shine top coat.
In this video, we'll be removing my nail polish and trying a new combination of colors. We'll also try a new product and implement. I hope you enjoy it. :)

Mary! Question! The miracle gel from sally hansen, can you use a regular top coat? I always assumed you had to use their gel top coat and use a lamp to cure your nails.
Also I have been watching your videos forever and whoever has a problem with the way you make your content can piss off

hi Mary! i discovered your channel I think so where between 2019-2020 and I stopped watching for a while, I got busy with work and taking care of my brothers, and I recently found your channel again while looking through one of my old ASMR playlists!! And I am do glad I found you again, your channel gives me a small splash of nostalgia and a lot of relaxation. I have autism and your channel really helps me when I’m overstimulated which can be quite often 😂

I love the way your nails turned out!! The color is so cool and fall-y. And yeah I agree, that liquid latex stuff looks like it was a lot more trouble than it was worth - good to know!!
I have actually seen videos (from people like Simply Nailogical) who use the latex for nail art tricks, like when they use sponges to dab on glitter polish or do big fancy gradients. Nothing that I'd ever attempt on myself... Lol! I never thought about ordering those pointy q-tips on Amazon - great idea!
I was so overjoyed to find a bottle of the Unicorn top coat at Walmart today. Fourth store I tried that stocks SH nail polish. I think it must be popular because it's hard to find!!! I love it though!!

I always made such a mess doing my nails, but I saw a video once and now I do them perfectly with zero mistakes: 1) when pulling the brush out of the jar, slide it along one side of the opening to get polish off that side of the brush but leaving the full amount of polish on the other side of the brush. 2) then apply in one long motion from top to bottom in the center of the nail, then do the same motion (slightly overlapping) on the left/ride side, then again on the other side. Just three long strokes per nail. Then go back to step 1 for the next nail.
That's one of those things that I definitely have a "as seen on TV" and "in real life" experience with. It looks lovely on screen but never works out that way in real life for me.
Oh man, I've never heard of a basecoat before!! In your experience, does it make the paint stick better? I have a lot of trouble getting anything to stick to my nails-- even professionally done they'll just pop off in a few hours, lol!

I like to do one hand at a time when I'm using latex. It's way easier to keep the latex intact when I'm not trying to do things with the hand I'm about to paint.

I grow out my own nails and like to paint them myself, but the paint seems to chip so quickly because I work at home typing all day. Have you found a brand of polish (or a topcoat) that helps them last for a few days at least? LA Colors is so affordable but they seem to chip same day so I'm trying to find something else.
The Orly base coat along with the Nail Aid top coat seem to work pretty well for me.

I feel like I’m out of one of your “creepy stalker” role plays. 😂 But I have to tell you, after so many years of videos I am largely immune to tingles from all of my favorite channels except yours. ❤️ Also your hands are so pretty! Who cares if you're not professional if you're happy
If doing a basic manicure, there’s no need for liquid latex.
Most people only use it when doing very intricate nail art like gradients where a sponge is involved.
It’s to aid in a timely clean up but also people use the latex one hand or even one finger at a time bc of the stickiness of it.
It's marketed for people who have difficulty doing clean application of a regular manicure, as well.
I can see where this product could be very useful for basic manicures for some people.

I have super shaky hands due to medical issues. This stuff helps me a ton because not only is painting difficult for me, so is normal clean up with remover 😅
omg, who paints his fingernails, that's what little girls do better, I was shocked, you should take it in peace, sorry but that was a real failure.
