ASMR Request | Doing My Nails 2-27-2021 (Whisper)

- Nail Color: Starting out - Sinful Colors "Supernova," one coat, followed by one coat of Maybelline Color Show "Gilded Rose," one coat, and one coat of "Out The Door" shiny top coat.
End result - Maybelline Fast Gel "Orange Shot," two coats, and one coat of "Out the Door" shiny top coat.
I've had a lot of requests for another video of me painting my nails, so here we have it! We'll start out by taking a look at some of the products that I use, and I'll discuss a few items relating to my nail polish routine. Then we'll get into it! I hope you enjoy it. :)

I'm a senior and have been doing my own nails and coloring my own hair for 50 years. I find it lovely that you, and many of your followers, manicure your own nails as well. I thought all young women went to a salon. Thanks for your videos. Came upon them by accident and have continued watching.

Base coats are a must! Base coats are designed to adhere to the natural nail plate. And your color coats are a lot happier adhering to a base coat rather than your natural nail plate. Base coats also prevent staining 😊 With love from a nail polish enthusiast/geek.

My nails have only ever been painted black for about 9 years now 🤣 🖤🖤🖤 I always tell people my nails reflect the color of my heart 😉

I’m 49 only time I ever had nails is when I was pregnant. I chewed them as I kid and they won’t grow. Your nails are pretty. My beautician said you usually have good nails or thick hair and she didn’t know why.
Hair and nails are both made of keratin, so it's possible that the proteins prefer to congregate in a specific part of the body. That doesn't really sound that scientific to me, but considering how absurd other medical stuff is, maybe it really IS that simple.

Yes! I'm right handed and start with my right hand too. I always mess up something on my left hand, it never fails! So strange how the easier hand always looks the worst for me.

Hi Mary. Another wonderful video, it made me wonder if Lynette will make an appearance again, I miss her. When I was very much younger and didn’t understand, I thought if I only knew how to file correctly I could make my nails look like yours, wrong.
My favorite nail polish brand is Essie (which I buy from TJMaxx highly discounted) and the Sally Hansen quick dry!

There are these little round white containers of nail polish remover pads that are sold at dollar tree and dollar general. And they come in different scents like apple and strawberry. Its oily and when i find them i buy 3-4. It. Is. The. Best nail polish remover i have ever used. It works fast and it gets even glitter polish off very fast. And the oil keeps it from drying out your skin and nails. I love it.
Ohh!! I have one of those in the strawberry scent!!! It’s from the dollar store and I think they work great!!☺️
