    This looks terrific. Is gelatine a must? Can it be done w/o gelatine?

      Gelatin is essential in this recipe to firm up the filling and support the cake. 😊

    Hola buenas noches, vaya pintaza que tiene ese pastel, que rico, oye una duda, si uso fresas congeladas tendría que dejsrkas descongelarlas abtes de echarlas a la sartén o se podrian cocinar directamente congeladas ?

      You can use frozen strawberries. I just left them at room temperature for a while to make it easier to cut them into smaller pieces.

    Can we substitute the gelatin with powdered agar? If yes what would be the substitution ratio and when to add it?

      Sorry, I'm not used to using agar. But I think that with agar, the filling would not be as creamy as it is when using gelatine.

      @@BakingCherry That's right. I tried using agar today and the filling turned out very grainy in texture and didn't quite give a nice mouthfeel. But, the cake overall turned out very delicious. Thank you for this recipe❤
