    The purpose of my channel is to document my cancer journey to look back on, and/or help anyone else going through anything similar. It is also to potentially help loved ones supporting those who are in this fight as well. My main goal is to have footage of this journey for my husband and children to look back on. I originally created this channel as a sort of video diary for my family.
    Thank you so much for following along on this journey. Your love and support help me so much.

    Hi Jenny, I am a retired respiratory therapist. The oxygen is not a sign you are failing. The doctor ordered it to allow you to not expend so much energy to breathe which will allow your heart to not work so hard as well. Don’t hesitate to use it when you are short of breath (SOB). You will be able to concentrate on your family not trying to breathe. Embrace all the tools at your disposal. They don’t define you, they enable you!

      Exactly her children are going to be able to continue to connect to her still in the after life... she's know helping other mother who have cancer dealing with the same thing. It's amazing what she is doing behind the scenes. Aw, she going to make her husband so proud of her. The love still continues there. Her babies can heal healthy knowing she's still watching them and knowing she's still playing with them.
      Our medical system is broken and it must change.. her children will be her voice later on... Justice..

    Every video: "I almost didn't do chemo cute.. but then I pushed myself." So inspiring how she stayed in a positive headspace the best she could and she stayed her goofy self throughout her whole battle. She shouldn't have had to but she fought so hard. In her words, she finally beat cancer. Sometimes, things in this life make no sense and this is one of them. I'm so sorry Jenny was taken from your beautiful family. Rest in peace to a brave, strong woman.

    Jenny, I've been chronically ill since childhood; have genetic EDS, numerous overlapping autoimmune illnesses under that umbrella. There have been many close calls, including a stroke in my 20s, heart attack in my 40s. Guess what, I look 100 percent healthy, am as active as possible, and am now 66. Are the struggles and battles still with me, yes. However, instead of "Why me," it's "Ok, another hurdle to jump." So it is for you. More serious than mine, but hurdles none the less. You can do this, and must. I too am "stuck" on a number of meds, but as we both know, they're a necessary evil. I only asked God to please let me live until my child turned 18 and could be independent...that child is now 45! God bless you! You're not dying, you're maintaining. Prepare for the terrible teens, 'cause you'll be there!🙏🥰🤗

  • @broken_rebirth
    @broken_rebirth Год назад +6

    I'm sorry you're going through this. I have chronic disability and a medical condition that I could drop dead from any day. Honestly early on what helped me was accepting i"m already dead and I'm living on borrowed time. It really does help change your perspective on not being anxious about hearing bad information from your doctors. I also realize itcan be pessimistic but think of it this way. if you already have the worst outcome sorted out emotionally, and mentally, that frees up mental and emotional space to enjoy the small things in life. Prior I was worrying "Well if I don't move my legs every 30 mins I could get another DVT and it could travel and i could drop dead or become disabled and then want to die due to disability" or "OMG my period is coming i'm going to hemorrhage on the blood thinners again, no one is listening to me this is happening to me, what happens if my heart just stops and I die in my sleep."
    So what I mean by accepting you're already dead is killing off that part of you that fears death, accept that you will die, but don't seek out the times when it could happen, just let those float away into the mist and don't focus on them. Live like you have died, you were brought back, you have X amount of days to enjoy life in this meat bag again. That sort of thing. Because all that energy on fear of death will ruin your good days and make your bad days worse. It's also a great way to deal with PTSD.
    I once said to someone who couldn't understand how pessimism helps "Well, if you already accepted, and prepared yourself for the worst outcome when anythign better happens you have all that more energy to enjoy the positivity! I've already processed the worst, I'm done and over with it. Now I can enjoy the positive things life has to offer." I know some people are very neutral and they don't experience either extreme. I'd rather go through the whole spectrum, just in my own way XD from worst to best. LOL
    Try it, let me know how it works out for you. Really meditate with it. Death doesn't need to be scary. You'll be reborn again, learn new lessons. It'll be fine.

As a mental health nurse for 30+ years, I can attest to the fact that anxiety can raise BP and heart rate a fair bit. I'm saying that in isolation and without any expertise in cancer or cardiac care. The heart issue could definitely be anxiety! I've struggled with tachychardia and skipped beats due to generalized anxiety almost my whole life. So anxiety can definitely make your heart do funky things.
    I even went to a heart doctor and he didn't even suggest anxiety. It wasn't until I was much older and my naturopath helped me arrive at that conclusion. I've found a lot of doctor's don't study much about mental health and the effect they can have on the heart. So it's a bit frustrating when this gets dismissed.
    I love that the person commented on the over / under. I saw that comment and also seems like you have waaaaaay more positive test results than negative happening lately. Nevertheless, I bet it's overwhelming. That's right! Cry it out!! It's healthy and cathartic.

    Jenny! What an incredibly long, draining day you had. ❤️❤️ It is OK to have lots of emotions about it. What you’re dealing with is a lot. Thankfully, you have amazing support and you’re so resilient that you were able to work through it. 🥰🥰
    I know it’s exhausting and stressful when you have to go through so many tests and everything is such a roller coaster. It sounds like you have an amazing, experienced team. I am sure if they did not think things were going well, they would tell you. They would also modify your treatment plan which, it sounds like they did not. That is very good news!❤️
    As for your lung nodules, like your doctor said, everybody has them! That is so true! They found one on my lungs when I had my breast cancer work up scans. I literally was devastated by it. Then, the more I researched, the more I realized how common they were. I had never heard of them before. I was part of the two-year watch and wait club to see if it would grow! Thankfully they did not and it was just some weird scar tissue!
    We are all here, rooting for you!! I wish you and your beautiful family all the positivity and love in the world!! ❤️❤️❤️
