Thanks for the video. I just replaced the same part in my 2011 Volvo S60 T6 after getting the same P0420 code. The old part was ripped just like the one you show. The code is still appearing on the "Permanent codes" section of the Bluedriver App but hopefully after driving the car a few more Kms, it will clear up.
Thanks for this, I have a 2013 XC60 giving intermittent P0420. Dealer said to replace catalytic converter for about $3000. I replaced the diaphragm. Mine had a very very small tear. We’ll see if the error code goes away for good. No code at the moment. Fingers crossed
@@snowinmiamiexotiks520 it went away for a long while. It does come back but less and for shorter times than before. Now it’ll come on maybe for a day then turn off for two weeks. Before it was more on than off. I must have two contributors to the P0420

Meu veículo apresenta uma oscilação na lenta bem pequena característica de fuga de ar, pois quando tira a tampa de óleo para.. Fui trocar o diafragma imaginando estar rompido e estava perfeito.. O problema persiste, onde mais pode estar o problema?
Hello! This error p0420 in the xc 60 is very common to be caused by a membrane that is in the valve cover. This membrane breaks. Just as it is in the video. Just make the switch and the problem will be solved. I'm happy to help!

After driving the car some 500kms, plus cleaning the throttle body and MAF sensor, the code is gone!!!
What is this, what you have replaced? How it is called or what its part number? :)

Parabéns pelo vídeo e diagnóstico. O rompimento desse diafragma pode levar a um vazamento de óleo?
Boa tarde! Eu nao diria um "vazamento". Mas pode haver um consumo anormal de oleo. Ou seja , um consumo elevado do oleo do motor.
Da uma dica amigo de como tirar só a tampa do diafragma!!!

El XC60 "T6" tiene un 3.0 6 en línea turbo.
