This was an interesting watch! I definitely feel a bit more prepared for the plunge, even if I still have obstacles like "so many other hobbies that I also want to be good at" and "I have all of one (1) high school keyboard class' worth of experience with making music, from a decade ago"
i'm super new to using vocaloid (literally JUST downloaded vocaloid 4 editor) and this was so helpful!! i've been looking to make covers of my favorite songs with hiyama (my fav vocaloid), kaito, gakupo, etc. for a WHILE now and this totally helped lol. tysm!!!

hi! im sorry for asking but do you perhaps know a tutorial that covers the installation process of v5 and voicebank activating process?? im planning to get it for my birthday but i'd prefer to know how to get it started beforehand since it's really expensive :,) the actual tutorial on the official channel wasn't too clear
so, after u purchase it online, they actually have a set of written instructions! i was scared at first too and looked up all sorts of tutorials beforehand too-- and like u say, none of them really went in depth-- but that's because they give you some pretty clear directions on how to set it up ^^ don't worry! it's pretty straight forward.
@@collie8589 yeah, sure thing! if anything i just recommend making sure the editor is activated first before u do the voicebank. it takes a while to download and the registration is tied to ur harddrive/graphics card, so i also recommend making sure that your computer hardware is prepared before u go forward with it ^^
I'm really bad at making music and vocals, BUT my OC is inspired by vocaloids, her appearance shifts a lot, she has a lot of versions of herself, Her age is non-existent/shifts etc... So if my OC is inspired by a vocaloid, then why don't I make it one? If I made one I'd be so happy to listen to the music the vocaloid producers made using her! I could even make a playlist for her too!
I have an issue with Miku V4X in Piapro studio on Logic Pro X on mac. When I go to edit the lyrics the text window is too small to see the words or phonemes so I'm doing it blind. I've tried changing the screen resolution but it doesn't fix it. I've used Piapro before with no major problems but this might be an issue with Apple's latest Mac OS update or something.
Just today I bought Kaito v3 in hopes to make songs with him but, I cannot for the life of me find Piapro studio on my PC and every source I go to says I need StudioOne given to me to access it however I was only given CubaseLe, any help? T~T
vocaloid 4 can use versions 2-4, while vocaloid 6 can use 3-6. if ur worried about cryptonloids, using the v4x will be fine for modern editors. for the v2 cryptonloids, they install with their editor i believe.

You try to mean time signature at 4/4. The 3/4 you also try to mention (there is no such thing as 3 beats per minute) though, still doesn't make sense. The metronome setting is 110 bpm> THIS IS 110 beats per minute. If it were 4 beats per minute, the song would be soooo very slow, it would probably take a week to finish. 8:1515:3517:0719:0519:31

I would recommend you look into Synthesizer V! The voices sound more natural and mature. There is also a free version.
What is a Voice bank and how do you make one?
A voicebank is a VOCALOIDs voice,you can make one with UTAU but idk about VOCALOID X3

What you’re describing is an UTAU! you can make custom Utauloid voicebanks that others can download / use. You cannot make custom Vocaloids.

people do that all the time! they’re called talkloids. it’s just much harder to do cus they weren’t really built for it.

practice makes perfect! don’t expect to be an expert right away, just outlining all the tips a beginner may need to reference
