I love Georgie's character development over the course of the show, especially how he becomes a great father to CeCe. He also became a successful businessman, all without a college degree.
Georgie is such a great character. Whether he’s doing something stupid, saying something ridiculous or interacting with someone he doesn’t usually interact with, he’s always fun to watch. Sure he does pick on his brother and annoys his mother, father and grandmother, but that’s usual behaviour for a kid or teenager and Georgie does often have funny scenes between them like most scenes with George and Connie and even some emotional scenes like that talk with Missy in the garage. It’s also great that his character does grow and evolve especially from Season 5 onwards when he finds out Mandy is pregnant. I’m honestly surprised that he wanted to marry Mandy because of his earlier talks about wanting to stay a bachelor, but that is growth and development. And Montana Jordan has been excellent as Georgie, especially since interestingly he’s the only member of the Cooper family that we meet first in Young Sheldon and then see later all older in The Big Bang Theory (Sheldon is one of the main characters in TBBT, George is long gone and we meet Mary and Missy in Season 1 and Connie in Season 9) which is very impressive. Georgie has held up very well in Young Sheldon so it makes sense that he ends up being the character thats getting his own show. Can’t wait for it and I really hope it does well.
Montana Jordan is a perfect pick to play this character. The entire cast is actually so well placed. They say there is going to be a Georgie & Mandy spin -off. I hope that's true.
Georgie may lack any common sense and has an unusual way to look at things but at his core he is a good person. He really doesn't set out to hurt anyone.

Young Sheldon is a great prequel to The Big Bang Theory.

I love how Georgie tells Meemaw that he'll be a professional male model when he graduates high school and Meemaw thinks it's hilarious.
Georgie kissing Veronica at his baptism and getting punched for it is funnier than anything on this list.
The funniest part is that Missy is giving Sheldon a black eye at the same time Georgie is getting one from Veronica.
