In memory of Alexi Laiho
Children Of Bodom helped me go through very difficult times during my youth and their music plays a great part of my music influences. The news of Alexi's passing had a great impact on me and I felt that I had to pay tribute to him and the band by recording one of my favourite tracks from their discography. I was very fortunate to have these great musicians and friends to join me in this project. I hope you enjoy this tribute as much as we did recording it.
Thank you Alexi and all the members of CoB. Without your music, my life would be very different from what it is today.

I cannot stop checking out this cover guys. The singer could easily be in a CoB tribute band its almost uncanny somtimes.

RUclips just recommended me this beauty five minutes ago, I'll tell you I'm a fan of Children Of Bodom since I was seven years old, in fact I have some other cover on violin of a couple of COB songs, I don't listen to covers of my favorite bands because I feel that they take away the essence of the original song. But with you guys it's different, it's been the best cover of one of my favorite COB songs, it's really a good cover, it's a good tribute and believe me if Alexi listened to you guys he would be proud of you, I really liked it, greetings from a Peruvian Finnish metal lover.

For a few seconds I thought you just pasted the original in the video :D That keyboard sound is brutal. The vocals are a bit too silent for me, which is a shame, because the vocals sound killer

Hey I'm trying to emulate all of COB's synth sounds for my own band (we're trying to reproduce their exact sound) and the intro here sounds pretty much identical to the original song, do you happen to remember how you guys achieved it here?
Hello. The sounds come from the Roland XV5050 module. The preset in the intro has many layers, but the main sound is called D50-stack
