    Its crazy how much reversal the anti gives from blocking. Good stuff btw, I can see you don't have the same weakness as me which allows you to take both advantges of Short Pips. It might actually be a good swap over for you. Good luck brother I hope you can find success with this kind of combo. The Green looks SO NICE btw. I just got my Green Dtecs I love it lol

    • @AndreaAschi

      The green color is the best. It is confusing for the opponent!! :D
      Short Pips are not easy rubbers. They require technical adjustments and lots of training...maybe in the future! ;)

    How do you like this compared to your regular forehand rubber for blocking and hitting through spinny loops? Also curious if you've ever tried Dr. Neubauer Leopard on your forehand (short pips/ w 1.5 mm sponge). This is what the best player with your style used for many, many years (Dr. Herbert Neubaurer). I still have not found a better forehand rubber for this style of play.

    Visto solo adesso , bravissimo , un solo dubbio perché la corta solo da 1,8 di spessore ? Con uno spessore più alto sarebbe troppo vicina ad una liscia ed all'ora perderebbe di efficacia ? Grazie a chi mi risponde .

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  2 года назад +1

      Ciao Davide!
      La corta del video dove mi hai commentato se ricordo giusto era da 2.0mm.
      Posso dirti che in base alla mia esperienza più alto è lo spessore più si comporta simile a una liscia. Ti aiuta ad esempio quando devi fare top su palla tagliata.
      Diminuendo lo spessore la gomma é più indicata per fare un gioco classico da puntino corto quindi colpi piatti come block spinti e schiacciate.

    • @AndreaAschi

    Hey Andrea, I would love to try the Anti on FH. I use LP saviga v ox on my BH. I attack consistently with my LP and only use FH for blocking or kill shot. I know it's not related to the current topic of the Sp but wanted to see your insight.

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  2 года назад

      Hi Puti!
      Antispin on fh is very hard to use. If you want to try i recommend you a classic antispin (not the frictionless ones).
      I have one video where I played against a defenser with a Toni Hold on fh...with good attacking skills! ;)

    Very interesting way to play with anti. I tried that one, but to be honest playing anti with inverted is better for me. Short pimples on forehand with anti can be very useful against typical offensive players, but for me its harder to play with it against good chopper.

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  2 года назад +1

      You are absolutely right!
      It's a very good combo against offensive players combination but bad versus defensive players!

    • @Listermintsluesh
      @Listermintsluesh 2 года назад +1

      Me too. I play anti and find excellent control. Tried anti/short but hard to adjust. Sure it's possible after training. I think key is to play aggressive. Don't forget when your moved away from table you wont have that power to fish balls back like you would with a reverse. So, defence would come into play. Short pips are great off the bounce for fast flat attack not so much when afar from table.

  • @leohui3904
    @leohui3904 2 года назад

    Your twiddle skill is very good. I think you have a very good control of the short pimples. You should consider using short pims for your FH in the future. Cheers ~

    Looked like you had fun testing it!!
    By the way, what is the best way in your opinion to test a new setup?
    Should I play with it for a few training sessions while ditching my previous equipment completely or I should play with both of them in parallel? for example, 30 minutes with the new setup and 30 minutes with the old one?

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  2 года назад +1

      Short pimples are the funniest rubbers on the market!! :)
      My recommendation is:
      don’t try new materials if you have competitions coming up! Summer usually is the best time to do some test. You need multiple training session to fully understand if the new setup works for you. 😉

      It depends on which blade you would use it on.
      It is a fast rubber but when used on an allround blade it is controllable.

    THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION😁:
    Whats the difference to the Razka PO and to the ABS you normally use.
    Right now I'm in contact with Joachim from Sweden he recommended Super Glanti 0.8 with victory blade. Is there so much difference between Super Glanti, ABS, Vortex, Spinparasite..... I love the way you play. But unfortunatly it looks always good😊 I can't see any difference when you change the equipment. The only thing i know is, that Materialspezialist Antis don't Work with thick sponge from spinlab.
    Its hard to choose, unless you you have hundreds of Euro to test, because there are so many opportunities.

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  2 года назад

      Hi Andreas!
      Rakza has a softer sponge. It has a better control and it's similar to an inverted rubber. This green Firestorm has a very hard sponge and it's faster. IMHO Rakza is better on fh, Firestorm is better on bh.
      Listen to the advice of Joachim, he has an amazing antispin/pimples knowledge! :)

      @@AndreaAschi Bye the way, I am watching all your videos and I think that I havn't seen you playing an Anti so well like with this combo blockbuster and spinparasite. How Do you like the rubber snd how Do you like the blade?

    • @AndreaAschi
      @AndreaAschi  2 года назад

      @Andreas Weiss this blade/antispin is a great combination.
      Spinparasite Special has a very hard topsheet and a thin 1.0mm sponge (spinreversal is probably better than mine ABS but I feel less control due to the fact that my pink sponge has more dampening effect).
      The moderate speed of blockbuster matches well with the characteristics of Spinparasite!
      I think it's a perfect combination for allround long pimples players that want to try antispin.
      I need a much faster blade (i use a OFF+ one) for my forehand game so blockbuster doesn't fit my offensive style. 😉
