Yeah I've never lived there, in fact I live in a different *country*, and kexp stands out.
qualifier: this particular live performance isn't really working on my speakers. Some things just don't seem to work yet electric.
Also: wathc the interview at the end. This guy's dad is a genius.
What better way to have a kid who can play balafon than to have 45 kids and make them all study the balafon?
I agree, I like these bands from the far corners of the earth with really original sounds and instruments.
