Yeah, it comes with the type of music also, this is something missing in our generation, most people want to learn riffs and scatter the music. This is how music was back in the day, everything is clearly communicated, clean, and understandable.

The percussion did a great job holding the irregular beats to the end of the music.
The woodwind and brass guys did extremely perfect and their solo is topnotch and their tonguing techniques too.
The pianist woman really captivated my heart in all with her solo and the singers were wonderful, never knew yetunde got a soul in her voice.
To crown it all your music was spiritual.
Felat kuti will always say"don't joke with music cause music is very spiritual " you can see that on the stage.

Fela speaks the truth and is often the most unconventional voice of the people. The diogenes, one of the Greek philosophers, once said if you are going to be different from society and speak the truth, you must be prepared for the consequences. Such people may face persecution and even death, but their legacy endures posterity and will be remembered as long as their voices are still heard, and they will be celebrated by many generations to come. This has been Fela Kuti’s fate, and similarly, his mother, Funmilayo Anikulapo -Kuti, who is being celebrated in a biopic showing in film houses across the world many decades after her death.
Kudos to Seun & her sister for their performances along together with the Brazilian counterpart.

I just found this video yesterday. I had to come watch it again today. A room full of beauty and talent. What an incredible performance. Upside Down is one of my favorite Fela songs, and THIS performance of the song is one of the best I have seen. Incredible energy and talent.
