I have the blue version of the S435. It's become one of my daily drivers, and one of my favorite watches! The biggest difference between this and the S434 is the actual case thickness. The S434 has a 12mm case, while the S435 is 12mm to the top of the domed top hat crystal. It effectively makes the actual case somewhere between 9.5 and 10mm thick. It definitely wears a lot thinner, and I like it much more.
Own the same. GR8 watch and a steal at $200. Hi beat mov't, domed sapphire, applied indices, excellent lume, cermanic bezel, terrific bracelet and clasp, terrific dial...love it.
I just got the red gold / black S435 shown in this video and I love it. It's the slimmest feeling diver on the wrist I have ever worn -- I'd feel just as comfortable pairing this with a suit as I would diving with it. Thanks for the great review!

Btw the video title says “s453” instead of “s435” so I almost didn’t find it.
Might want to do your research. The 435 has a thinner case, shallower rehault and different crystal profile, all of which make the 435 look noticeably different.
I love it. Not sure what it looks like in hand but, on my phone it looks like a really nice darkerbronze with the bonus it would never patina so, retains some shine and gloss but not overly bright...

Very nice, not usually interesting in plated or coated gold, but this looks good because it still seems to have a brushed finish.

I have the blue S435 and really enjoy it.
The only thing I wished they would change is their logo, it just looks too basic for me. Even something like the Sugess logo would elevate this one
I got the blue one last winter, I enjoy wearing it a lot, especially enjoy the dial and on the fly adjust clasp, at under 2% of the MSRP of the Seaq its kinda crazy

I love Seestern watches. Really great quality though I'd probably go for the steel one. For some reason I would prefer the green or blue dial with this colour case, but they seem to only have steel. That strap looks,very good on it too and FKM is so comfortable.

Waiting for them to fix the 12 numerals as the 1 is noticeably higher than the 2.
Seems like a manufacturing issue with the dial fixing pins on the numerals as this misalignment is evident on their stock photos and all units I’ve seen reviewed.
Don't. I really don't see it on the wrist but like you thought it bothered me in a review. Great watch
@@rlc2978 Interestingly, my S435 doesn't not show this issue. The applied indice, particularly the "1" in the 10 o'clock and 12 o'clock positions, lines up perfectly at its base with the "0" and the "2". I suppose this issue was noted and fixed in dial production. I ordered my S435 from the official Seestern store on AliExpress, in late January, 2024.
It's something which you can't unsee once you notice it... Plus people are reporting issues with the date wheel not rotating fully which leaves the date indicator misaligned. I've seen this with other ST2130 watches, so can believe this to be an issue in at least some of the copies. Makes me reconsider going for similarly styled Le Forban or Wolbrook (with inferior movement for twice the current price of this Seestern...).

Don't normally like big Arabic numerals but that somehow works. Very nice looking watch and rose gold also suits the 62MAS case. But....hat Seagull movt still puts me off. I know a lot of people have had success, but the failure rate is still too high for my liking. SII or Miyota only for me I'm afraid. Shame.

Your heading is wrong...S453 instead of S435.... The pronunciation of Seestern is zayshtern, not seastern.... and the case is slimmer (watch your colleague's comparative review on RUclips) although the overall height is the same due to the crystal.

Using the Seagull movement enabled them to make the case 1mm thinner.
I’ve seen both in profile and although it’s a small difference, it is almost a tenth of the total width so noticeable.
@@ahirshfield Yes, the S435 case has a lower profile, allowing for the overall thickness (when including the nicely domed sapphire crystal) not to exceed the 12mm thickness of the S434. The S435 also has a larger/signed crown. It's end linkages have a more aggressive downward turn, which should allow it to fit more comfortably on medium sized wrists. Along with the higher beat and reliable ST2130 movement, these are incremental upgrades.
The correct pronunciation is NOT SEEEE-STERN.

What happened to your light box? You have a black box..! In my opinion not the best way to photograph something with a black dial, black bracelet, black gloves in a black box. Lumeshot and studio lights on, are the same..! It is an experiment and you are original, that is true. Not everything new is an improvement though...

The right colour of the rosé gold case. It sticks out so much, that it almost looks steel.

That's because the pronunciation is garbled. It's zayshtern, not seastern (Seestern is a borough of the city of Düsseldorf, Germnay)
