Thank you for sharing your personal story with us. I wish Dimple would've given you more of a chance to talk about what you really wanted to say - the misunderstandings people have about North Korea. I assume you live in South Korea now, and I'm glad you're living where you want to live, instead of being forced to live somewhere you don't. It would be nice if your whole family could join you. I hope the rest of your life is great!

Welcome to freedom! Your story brings me to tears! May the blessings you've been denied in the past bloom and bear fruit! You seem to be a fine human and a special witness for peace and understanding! With all respect, An American who cares!

Her story about the train made me cry. They should make a movie about some of these defection stories.

I am impressed by this woman and by some miracle, I hope this gets out to the people who are living in North Korea that will fight against the brainwashing effect.Even if they can`t change things publicly, they can help their children to understand logic, to question their existence to see right from wrong.

great interview with an amazing woman. I have read and watched N. Korean defector for many years now. I wrote a novel about the liberation of NK by the people themselves. It's titled "The Krishna Kid in North Korea.

I wonder why all the NK defectors come to America. Could it be because they are free here. Freedom and liberty. What a concept.
