Wow! Happily surprised with the calm tempo in this review. 👍 Love your eye for color - thanks to you I go forward with eyes wide open with Swiss Coffee! Haha. I love it! Looking for greige tone for lower kitchen cabinets to harmonize with SC uppers, walls and trim in north facing room. Sounds like I need backsplash & counter before I make a final decision. Great video!
Good advice. I have a buffet that belonged to my great grandfather. My grandmother stained it a very dark stain probably 30 or 40 years ago, it needs touching up, and I want to paint it with a greige chalk paint for a light academia aesthetic.
You are so right about Swiss Coffee. On social media many women recommend it. I got a sample of it and hated it in my home. My family room is north facing with limited lighting Well, that explains why it's a bad color for my home! thanks
I have signed up for your two room package. I haven’t started the process yet, because I am changing out my headboard and bed, and I also have a lot of cleanup to do in my living room. But once all of that is done, I can’t wait to see what you recommend for my Northeast facing dark-ish condo. Incidentally, the previous owner painted it entirely in Dunn Edwards Swiss coffee. It’s honestly not bad, but probably could be better. I put in one of those brown gray LVP floors. Yes maybe it’s trendy, but I love my floors.
Hi there. I had my Cabinets painted SW White Duck, I was thinking about painting the walls in agreeable grey. Would that make sence or be a mistake in your opinion?
I just sent my painter my color choice for my kitchen cabinets. I am now worried since it has to work with so many other finishes in the room. What is your lead time for 1 room Color recommendation? I would have to make the change quickly before he orders the paint.
Hi there:) Nice to hear from you. Happy to help you. I can squeeze you in between my meetings this coming Tuesday. I recommend the One Room Package and select the kitchen cabinets as the area that you need help with. If you order let me know and I will personally book the appointment for you.
I am planning to do Pale Oak OC20 in my home. I’m kind of nervous because I don’t get a lot of natural light (actually almost 0) and I’m afraid it may be the wrong choice, could you please advise
Nice to hear from you:) Had to say without any visuals of your space. BM Pale Oak will look different than a space with good natural lighting. Go warmer and be careful with cool taupes or grays.
Can you recommend a warm cozy Greige for a bedroom that has North facing window and 8ft ceiling height. I want to paint the ceiling the same colour, I like warm grey’s and hubby says no grey, but he doesn’t have an eye for colour at all, so I need to trick him and get a warm greige. Lol
Just now seeing your comment and you’ve probably already chosen a paint color, but if not, look at Sonnet by BM. It’s a lovely, warm greige and I love it in my bedroom so much.
I have a super long, narrow hallway with high ceilings, painted the walls and ceiling Swiss coffee, and it looks white to me. There is no natural light peeking in. What did I do wrong, has anybody else experienced this? I was under the impression it would be a soft creamy light color and I did not get that. It appears pretty stark white to me and now I hate it.
You have helped understand paint colors better than anyone. Excellent videos!!
Happy to hear you find the videos helpful and I wish you the best!
This video is amazing. The best video I've seen highlighting the difference b/w gray, greige, beige, taupes and the various combinations of them.
Awesomeness:) Thank you for your kind words.

I had my downstairs painted pale oak a few months ago and I love it!
Awesomeness:) So happy for you, Pale Oak is a beautiful paint color! Thank you for sharing.
Pale oak was pink on my walls as I was sampling the color..no, no no!
@@karlarentz7694 I've seen that happen many times. Thanks for sharing:)
@@karlarentz7694 I agree, Pale Oak turned pink for me too. The Samplize sample looked great but once the paint was on the walls that all changed.
Tricky colors! I've repainted my DR 3 times. You recommended Ballet White and really like it!
Awesomeness! So happy for you and thank you for sharing:)

Great info. Is Swiss Coffee by Benjamin Moore? Thx
Thank you for your kind words:) Yes, Swiss Coffee by Benjamin Moore not Kelly Moore.

I have dark Burgundy hardwood floors. What color do you suggest? I usually do SW paints. I have a south facing foyer that gets lots of light.

What is your experience with greige paint colors?
Thank you saved me from picking Swiss coffee.....
