    Hope all is well, I've always speculated about opening a sneaker shop. All the information you provided is on point! I do photography and music videos so I had to eventually learn the business model at some point after starting my journey. I'm mostly curious about how do you build a reputable inventory with different brands. In other words where or how did you come across your shoe vendors. I've got a full time job in the county that funds my side-hustles and hobbies but I love the thought of being an entrepreneur in the sneaker / fashion industry. Thanks for any input you may share bro! 🙌

    Great video. Watched a few of your videos, specifically about opening up and the leg work behind it. One thing I haven't heard you discuss (unless I just missed it) is how you source your inventory. Do you go direct to brands, do you have to have a connection? Are these things difficult to come buy? Is there a vetting process before a particular brand starts working with you? Are you just sourcing on your own?

    I think it's super important to specify this is a sneaker resale shop. If you are trying to open a shop where you get the product straight from the brands then the reality is that you will simply not get an account unless you buy out an existing store or have some kind of huge financial backing.

    Dude. You are amazing, owning a sneaker store is a dream and a huge goal of mine. Im only 16 and know probably a bit more than the average high schooler about owning businesses etc. but this really out things into perspective and I want to thank you for that. I hope to achieve this goal someday. I also wanted to ask you if you happen to see this, 1. Is it smart to take out a loan for a business? I know that's more money going to the interest of the loan and stuff and 2. Idk why I always feel like I HAVE to be reselling now to start a store but im not sure if that's the case. Is it possible to just start a store without having to basically full time resell before? I hope you see this and thanks again :)

    • @holygroundshop
      @holygroundshop  3 года назад +1

      Yes it is better
      They thought behind it was that I would eventually need a bigger space regardless if I wanted to expand the business such as a storage unit or warehouse. So I’d still have to pay rent for something or just keep the business at a very small scale. Plus in store is a better way to source inventory. Instead of driving around, doing meet ups and having to always haggle down prices. When people come into a sneaker shop they know they can’t get market value so prices are already under
