I do what I can to help those willing to listen 🙌🏽. Blessed to have subscribers like yourself who are here to grow. Because of you, people like The Good Wolf and other brands are willing to open their doors and share what they know.
I was hoping I'd find a video that talked about the complicated stuff. Accounting/book keeping, taxes, w2s, shipping and receiving, insurance, opening accounts with vendors, receiving debit card purchases. To me some of that stuff is the scary stuff.
Did you find what you were looking for? That's what I'm looking for too, I just keep finding videos that are not helpful. They're just a bunch of unhelpful "tips" & long winded stories that have nothing to do with how to build a business.
Love the encouragement, brother. God is good and it's awesome seeing God's people with vision and big dreams! Keep doing what you're doing and awesome support for small businesses! Little by little, if we don't give up, we will reap a harvest!
This video is great John! Thanks for sharing and I’ll def check out this store with my wife the next time we’re in Vegas!!! Congratulations to the owners!
Thank you bro. Couldn't have done it without my team and people willing to be vulnerable. Can't wait to share what we have in the works. It may seem like I haven't been active on RUclips, but we've been cooking behind the scenes. Next time you're in town shoot me a message!
So helpful!! I totally watched this mainly to see how to go from online to storefront and was wondering what pos would be best as I was looking at many. I use Shopify for my online store so BOOM! Now I know who to use and will look no further!! Thank you!
I want to make an aesthetic clothing store: Cottage core, grunge, preppy, emo, cute core, goth, vintage, academia, boho, yk2 ect! wish me luck 😊 I’ll start with an online store and promote it with tik tok and RUclips
The key to opening up a specialty retail store is to make sure you are in a very high traffic tourist area. Keep in mind that most likely less than 20% of customers will be locals. If the area doesn't have high tourist pedestrian traffic, don't waste your time taking such a risk.
Their store looks amazing John 👏 You certainly aren't wrong when you say it isn't cheap! We had a market stall for 5 years and opened our own store 2 years ago alongside the market stall. When the pandemic hit in March 2020 we actually made the decision to leave the market which had better footfall to focus our attention on our shop to create the experience of escapism. You can get a feel of the before and after in our videos. We've also allocated the biggest investment into our business in the past 2 months (which sounds crazy given the pandemic) but we know it WILL pay off when it is completed in April.
Thanks for this great content John! I'd like to know if you had any tips for foreigners that would like to open a boutique in the USA. I'm French and my dream is to open a one in Los Angeles. Is it still the same process that you explained in terms of legal structure, or is there more steps than a US citizen? That would be really helpful to me to have information on that. Thanks a lot again!
That space is fantastic, falling apart? That's absolutely gorgeous! Open floor space. *I dont need visibility* I'm more a specialty... a destination not "Foot Traffic"
Great video! Wondering if you’ve ever spoken to someone who’s built a boutique on a lot of land. We’re in the process of doing that now here in Dallas, TX. Building a vintage t- shirt boutique.
